AI for Legal Operations

Legal teams spend too much skilled time on work that is important but routine. Intake requests, renewal dates, clause hunting, document filing and repeat enquiries all pull lawyers away from advice. These legal operations systems organize and prepare that work, then put it in front of a lawyer for review and judgment.

Grouped by the job they do

Where does legal operations time go?

In most legal teams, the drain is preparation rather than advice. Requests arrive by email with missing details. Contracts need summarizing before anyone can review them. Renewal and notice dates live in many separate documents. Precedents are hard to find. Every one of these tasks matters, yet none of them needs a senior lawyer to do the first pass.

  • Triaging incoming legal requests
  • Tracking renewal and notice dates
  • Summarizing and comparing contracts
  • Finding clauses and precedents
  • Classifying and filing documents

Which legal products should you look at first?

For contract-heavy teams, AI Contract Review Workflow flags clauses that deviate from your playbook, AI Contract Summarization pulls out key terms and obligations, AI Contract Comparison checks against templates and prior versions, and AI Contract Renewal Monitor tracks key dates. AI Clause Extraction builds a structured clause library.

For the wider function, AI Legal Intake triages requests from the business, AI Legal Operations Assistant handles matter tracking, and AI Legal Knowledge Base, AI Legal Document Search and AI Legal Research Workflow make precedents and research easier to find.

Are there editions built for law firms?

Yes. Several general products have Legal Operations editions aimed at intake and enquiries. They include the AI Website Chatbot, AI Voice Receptionist and AI Appointment Setter, which screen prospective clients and book consultations without using lawyer time. AI Document Extraction, AI SEO Agent and AI Company Knowledge Hub also come in Legal Operations editions.

Questions buyers ask

Does the AI give legal advice?

No. These systems organize, summarize, flag and route legal work. AI Contract Review Workflow, for example, flags deviations from your playbook for lawyer review, and AI Legal Research Workflow organizes sources for a lawyer to assess. The advice and the final decision always stay with qualified people on your team.

Can we use our own contract playbook?

Yes, and you should. AI Contract Review Workflow compares contracts against your playbook, not a generic one. The playbook, the clause positions that matter and the review steps are agreed in the Scope Card, so the flags your lawyers see reflect your own standards and risk appetite.

How does the voice receptionist help a law firm?

The Legal Operations edition of AI Voice Receptionist answers calls, handles common questions, takes messages and transfers callers. It is set up for firms that lose lawyer and staff time to intake calls and status questions, so the team only picks up the calls that need them.

Frequently asked questions

What's an Industry Edition?

A version of a Core Product tuned to one sector's data, terminology and workflows. It is priced and delivered the same way as any other catalog product, with its own Scope Card.

How long does delivery take?

Each product shows a fixed delivery time in working weeks, with faster Express and Rush options for a fee. The clock starts the working day after your intake is complete.

What do we need to provide?

You add our team as a user, or create an API key that you control, for each system the product connects to: your CRM, helpdesk, store, telephony, WhatsApp or AI provider. Credentials are never sent by email, and you can remove our access at any time. We never buy third-party accounts on your behalf.

What if we need something outside these products?

Add a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.

Staging copy for testing. Not the live site; payments are in PayPal sandbox and every email goes to the team.
