New users are walked through the setup steps that fit their role and goals, not one generic tour for everyone.
New users who sit through steps that do not apply to them often never reach the part that matters. This build adapts your onboarding to each user's role and goals, skipping irrelevant setup and surfacing the steps that count, inside your product or onboarding flow. Your product team can read every rule, and an A/B test measures activation against your current flow.

AI Personalized Onboarding adapts the setup steps a new user or customer goes through based on their role and goals, skipping what does not apply and surfacing what does, rather than running everyone through one fixed tour. It works inside your product or onboarding flow, not on marketing pages.
A single onboarding tour is built for an average user who does not exist. Admins wade through steps meant for end users, and people with one specific goal give up before they reach it. Every user who stalls is a customer who may never get value. This build routes each new user down the path that fits, using data you already capture at signup. The Scope Card fixes the paths, systems and workflows before you order, so the project has clear edges.
Setup steps adapt to each new user's role and goals. Steps that do not apply are skipped, and the ones that matter most come first.
Onboarding surfaces the steps most relevant to each user's stated goals. People reach the parts of your product that matter to them sooner in their setup.
Role decides which path each person follows. An admin can see configuration steps, while an everyday user goes straight to the tasks they will do.
Rules stay visible and editable within up to six workflows and your approval rules. Your team can adjust steps without waiting for the next engineering release.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $3,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $4,600 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $5,250 |
Before you start: Record onboarding completion, time to first key action and setup tickets for recent signups.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
Running this after launch usually costs $50 to $250 a month in AI model usage and hosting, on top of whatever you already pay for your CRM plan. Cost tracks how many new users go through a personalized path, not the number of paths you have defined.
AI usage during the build and testing period is billed the same way, directly in your own accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours.
Ask about running costsIf your onboarding needs more paths or systems than the Scope Card covers, note it at checkout. A written Change Quote follows, the extra work waits for your approval, and your original order keeps its planned date. Larger or bespoke projects use the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionOptional monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates and enough monthly change hours to add a new onboarding path as your product evolves. It starts after the 30 days of post-launch support and can be cancelled any month.

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | An onboarding tool charges monthly per active user | An agency quotes onboarding UX work as a separate project | Ours is one fixed price, shown on this page before you buy |
| Scope | An onboarding tool gives you a builder, branching logic is yours to design | An agency scope is agreed project by project | Ours is written on the Scope Card, paths built for you |
| Delivery | An onboarding tool is quick to install but slow to configure well | An agency onboarding project usually runs several weeks | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
| Signal used | An onboarding tool often branches on signup form answers alone | An agency build depends on what was agreed | Ours also reads early product usage as it happens |
| Measuring impact | An onboarding tool often sells cohort reporting separately | An agency build depends on what was agreed | Ours includes A/B test setup in the price |
One fixed price covers role and goal-based onboarding paths across up to two connected systems and up to six workflows, plus 50 documented test scenarios run against your real paths before launch. The price for each delivery speed is shown in the panel on this page, so the build cost is clear before you buy, without a product walkthrough call.
Delivery time is fixed for each speed and shown in the panel on this page. The clock starts once intake is complete and access is verified. Most of the calendar time goes on defining your onboarding paths and confirming where role or goal data comes from, so agreeing those early keeps things moving.
No, it works inside the onboarding flow you already have, deciding which steps a new user sees and in what order, rather than replacing your interface. Your existing screens and setup steps stay as they are; this build adds the branching logic that decides which of them apply to a given user.
Role, team size or a stated goal captured at signup, along with early usage data read from your app or a CRM such as HubSpot, decide the starting path. A user's path can also adjust as they move through onboarding, based on which features they actually touch in those first sessions.
They see your current default onboarding flow exactly as it exists today, rather than a stalled or broken setup sequence. Fallback to the default flow is built into every path rule, so a user who does not fit a defined role or goal is never left without a clear path to follow.
Expect roughly $50 to $250 a month in AI model usage and hosting, on top of whatever you already pay for your CRM or app analytics. That cost tracks how many new users actually go through a personalized path each month, not how many separate onboarding paths you have configured.
You do. Every path definition, branching rule and workflow built for your onboarding flow belongs to you once delivered, the same as work from an in-house product team would. We do not reuse your signup data, your onboarding logic or your path rules for any other customer. That includes the right to export the rule set or move it to another provider at any point, with no ongoing license fee attached.
You have five working days after delivery to flag anything that does not match the Scope Card, and that gets fixed as part of the original build price, not a paid Change Quote. Beyond that window, further tuning of path rules runs through monthly maintenance instead. Most fixes at that stage are narrow adjustments to a single path rule, not a rebuild of the whole onboarding setup.
