WordPress Website Design and Landing Pages

WordPress runs a large share of the web because it is flexible, widely supported and not tied to one company. These builds give you a WordPress site on hosting in your name: a single landing page, a business website of up to eight pages, a corporate website of up to 25 pages, or a site built around bookings or paid memberships.

Which WordPress build do you need?

Choose the WordPress Landing Page when you have one offer, campaign or service to promote and one action you want visitors to take. It is a single page of up to six sections with a lead form that sends enquiries to your inbox.

Choose the WordPress Business Website when people need the fuller picture: what you do, who you serve, who your team is and how to reach you. It covers up to eight pages, with a contact form, maps, click-to-call and basic SEO on every page.

Larger organizations with more pages and several templates usually fit the Corporate Website. If customers book appointments online, the Booking Website covers services, deposits and reminders. If you sell gated content or courses, the Membership Website adds member tiers and recurring payments.

  • Landing page: up to six sections and 600 words of edited copy
  • Business website: up to eight pages and 2,500 words of edited copy
  • Both: analytics, search console and checks on phones and tablets before launch

Why build on WordPress?

Your site is not locked to one provider. You can move hosts, hire any WordPress developer later, and add features from a wide choice of themes and plugins when you need them. We keep the plugin list short and build on well-supported themes, so the site stays easier to update and secure.

The trade-off is that WordPress needs regular updates. Your team can handle them, or a care plan from webcare24, our WordPress care brand, can take care of updates, backups, security and fixes after the support period.

Questions buyers ask

Can I start with a landing page and add a full website later?

Yes. Both builds run on WordPress, so a landing page can sit alongside a fuller site later. If you already know you need several pages, the WordPress Business Website is the better starting point, because it plans the whole site and its navigation from the start.

Can my team edit a WordPress site without a developer?

Yes. Text and images can be changed in the WordPress editor without code. The landing page comes with a short recorded walkthrough, and the business website includes a recorded editor training session, so new staff can learn the basics in their own time.

Do you set up WordPress hosting?

Yes, with your approval. We set up hosting and a domain in your name, so the accounts and bills stay with you. If you already have hosting and a domain, we can build on those instead. Hosting is billed by your host and registrar, not by us.
