AI Report Automation for Retail
Assembles recurring reports from multiple sources on a schedule, adapted for Retail teams that compile store sales and stock reports across locations.
Pulls data from your connected systems on a schedule and assembles one formatted report, delivered where your team already looks.
Someone on your team probably spends hours each week copying numbers from different tools into the same report. This workflow takes that job over. On the schedule you set, it pulls data from up to three connected systems, checks for gaps, assembles everything into one formatted report with a short written summary, and sends it to email, Slack or Microsoft Teams.

AI Report Automation pulls data from up to three connected systems, such as Google Sheets, Airtable or your other tools, on the schedule you set, and assembles it into one formatted recurring report, sent to email, Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Manual reports cost more than the time it takes to build them. They arrive late, vary in format and carry copy-paste mistakes that lead to poor decisions. When the person who builds them is away, they often do not arrive at all. This workflow produces the same report the same way every cycle, on time, from read-only connections to your tools. Your team reads it instead of building it. The written scope fixes the structure, sources, schedule and testing before you order.
The automation pulls data from up to three connected systems, such as Google Sheets or Airtable, on your schedule. It assembles one formatted recurring report without anyone copying figures.
The report is sent to email, Slack or Microsoft Teams on the schedule you set. It runs in the background whether or not anyone is free.
The same steps run in the same order on every scheduled run, with no copying by hand. The workflow was tested across 20 runs on your sample data before launch.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $2,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $3,400 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $3,900 |
Before you start: Record how long the report takes to build today, how often it is late, and how often it needs correcting.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build price is one-time. Running the workflow costs roughly $20 to $100 a month, covering the automation platform plus AI model usage, billed directly in your own accounts. A daily report pulling from all three connected systems sits toward the top of that range.
AI usage during the build and testing is also billed to your accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours. Nothing runs through us.
Ask about running costsIf you need something outside the Scope Card, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Your original order keeps its delivery date either way. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionMonthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes and a monthly allowance of change hours for things such as adding a section to the report or adjusting the delivery schedule. It starts after the 30 days of included support and can be cancelled any month.
$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A BI or reporting tool charges a monthly fee per seat or connector | A systems-integration contractor quotes an hourly project rate | Ours is one fixed price, shown before you buy |
| Setup | A BI tool needs you to build and maintain the report yourself | A contractor scopes and builds the report as a custom project | Ours is built from your current report and tested with 20 real runs |
| Delivery | A BI tool often needs someone to log in and check it | A contractor's delivery setup depends on what was scoped | Ours is pushed automatically to email, Slack or Teams on schedule |
| Delivery | A BI tool is usable once you finish configuring the connectors | A contractor build usually runs several weeks, set per project | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
Up to three read-only connected systems, one workflow of up to twelve steps with an AI step for the written summary, 20 test runs generating the report from your own data, two rounds of changes and a recorded handoff session. The price is fixed and shown on this page before you order, once the report structure is agreed.
Roughly $20 to $100, covering the automation platform plus AI model usage, paid directly in your own accounts rather than billed through us. A daily report pulling from all three connected systems tends to land nearer the top of that range than a lighter weekly version.
On a fixed schedule shown before you buy, counted from a verified intake and including 20 test runs that generate the report from your own data. Express and rush delivery are both available for an added fee chosen at checkout, if you want the first automated report ready for a particular meeting or month end.
Admin or API access to up to three of the systems the report pulls from, such as Google Sheets, Airtable or another connected tool, plus the delivery channel it should reach, such as email or Slack. Credentials are shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
Yes, through monthly maintenance. Adding a report section, adjusting the delivery schedule, or changing the AI summary style all fit inside its monthly change hours. Connecting a fourth data source is scoped separately as a Change Quote before that extra connection is built in.
No. Plans bill monthly and can be cancelled in any given month, with no long-term commitment attached. The report keeps generating and sending on its existing schedule either way; a plan only pays for hours spent changing its structure afterward, and unused hours never roll into the next month.
The report is still assembled from the sources that respond, and whoever you named during intake is alerted that one source didn't load, rather than the report silently showing wrong or missing numbers. You can then re-run the cycle once the source is back, without waiting for the next scheduled one.
Pick by who reads the report. AI Report Automation gathers figures from your systems into one formatted report. AI Report Narratives writes the commentary for a report you already produce. AI Weekly Business Review builds the weekly operating document with owners and open items. AI Financial Reporting produces the finance pack for leadership. The Executive Reporting Pack add-on adds a leadership summary to an existing Upmark Labs product.
