AI Client Reporting
Assembles client reports from project and performance data.
At the end of each Linear cycle, your client gets a plain-language summary of what shipped and what comes next, approved first.
For software agencies and studios, every Linear cycle ends with the same client question: what did we get? This edition reads the client's project when a cycle closes, including completed issues, carried-over work and the next cycle's plan, and drafts a plain-language update. Your delivery lead approves it before it is sent, and clients never need a Linear seat.

AI Project Status Agent for Linear writes client status updates for software work tracked in Linear. When a cycle closes, it reads the client's project, the issues completed and carried over, and the next cycle's plan, drafts an update in one AI step, and sends it after your lead approves.
Development work moves in cycles, but client communication often does not. Leads either skip the update or spend an evening rewriting issue titles into something a client can follow, and slipped work gets explained late. This edition turns each closed cycle into a clear update, with carried-over issues called out honestly, so clients trust your progress reports. Your delivery lead approves every message. The Scope Card fixes the Linear mapping, the trigger and the approval step before you order, so you know precisely what will run.
When a Linear cycle closes, the agent reads the client's project and drafts an update in one AI step. It is sent after your lead approves it.
The agent reads issues completed and carried over, plus the next cycle's plan. The draft covers what slipped and what comes next, for your lead to review.
The update is written for the client, drawn from the fields set in the documented mapping. Your lead can adjust the tone before anything goes out.
Access is set up through user invites or keys you control, and no keys are sent by email. The two-way connection is tested on sandbox or test records first.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $3,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $4,600 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $5,250 |
Before you start: Note how many recent Linear cycles ended with a client update and how long each update took.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build is $3,900, paid once. Running the workflow costs roughly $20 to $100 a month for the automation platform and AI model usage, billed in your accounts; short cycles and many client projects push it higher. Linear licenses and plan upgrades are not included.
AI usage during the build and testing is billed to you the same way.
Ask about running costsA second workflow, a second AI step, or custom Linear objects outside the mapping need a written Change Quote. Add a note at checkout and we send it to you.
Request a custom versionOnce the 30 days of support end, optional monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, model and Linear updates and a monthly health report. Change hours handle small changes like adding a new client project, a new approver or a different update schedule. Larger work needs a Change Quote. Cancel any month.

How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A reporting tool for Linear charges per seat | A delivery manager writes updates on billable time | Ours is one fixed price, shown on this page before you buy |
| Language | Shows issue titles as engineers wrote them | Depends on the manager | Ours rewrites work into outcomes a client understands |
| Timing | You remember to send it | Fits around other work | Ours drafts at each cycle close or on your schedule |
| Delivery | Quick install, manual write-ups continue | Set by hiring | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
Issues, projects and cycles. It reads the issues in each client's project, which were completed or carried over in the cycle, and what is planned next, then drafts the update. The send is recorded on the Linear project as agreed in the mapping. Custom Linear objects are outside this build.
Yes. The workflow can be triggered by a cycle closing or run on a fixed schedule, such as every second Friday. Either way, the draft goes to your delivery lead before anything reaches the client. Changing the trigger later is a small change within maintenance hours.
Issues carried over from one cycle to the next are listed separately, and the drafting step explains them using the issue's details, in the plain style of your sample updates. Your delivery lead can adjust the explanation before approving, so the client hears it accurately from you first.
Both sit in the price and delivery panel on this page, which gives the one-time price for each delivery speed, faster ones included, all covering the same Scope Card. The clock starts once your Linear API key, client project mapping and sample updates are verified, which is due within 72 hours of ordering.
No. Clients receive the approved update by email or whichever route you agreed, so they never need a Linear seat or access to your workspace. Internal issue titles, other clients' projects and engineering discussion stay private, while the client still sees an accurate picture of progress.
Roughly $20 to $100 a month in your own accounts, covering the automation platform and AI model usage. Short cycles and many client projects push it toward the top. Your Linear subscription is unchanged, and optional monthly maintenance starts once the 30 days of support end.
