AI Client Intake for Accounting & Tax Firms
Collects, checks and chases client documents, then files them to the right client folder; an edition of AI Client Intake adapted for…
Client-facing status and performance reports are assembled from your project data on the cadence you set.
Building client reports by hand eats hours you would rather bill. AI Client Reporting pulls from your project and performance data, read-only, and assembles a clear report or dashboard on the weekly or monthly cadence you set. Alerts flag a budget or milestone at risk between reports. Your data stays in your systems, and nothing it connects to is given write access.

AI Client Reporting pulls from your project and performance data and assembles a client-facing report or dashboard on the recurring cadence you set, weekly or monthly, sent to the channel your clients already check. Alerts flag a metric that moves outside your range before the next report is due.
Client reporting is necessary, visible and rarely billable. Every week someone copies numbers from several systems into a template, and a late or inconsistent report makes a client wonder what else is slipping. AI Client Reporting produces the same accurate report every cycle, checked against your own historical data before launch, and warns you early when something moves. The Scope Card fixes the data sources, the report format and the alerts before you order, so you know what arrives and when.
The build pulls from your project and performance data and assembles a client-facing report or dashboard. It runs on the weekly or monthly cadence you set.
Reports go to one channel your clients already use, such as email, Slack or a web dashboard. That makes them more likely to be read.
Up to five alerts flag a metric that moves outside your range before the next report is due. Your team can respond before the client asks.
Results are checked against three months of your historical data before launch. Up to 25 defined metrics are drawn read-only from up to three sources.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $4,400 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $5,150 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $5,950 |
Before you start: Record hours spent per reporting cycle and how often reports went out late last quarter.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build price is one-time. Running AI Client Reporting afterwards costs roughly $20–150/month, covering AI model usage plus hosting and the scheduler, billed directly in your own accounts.
AI usage during the build and testing is also billed to your accounts, so you keep ownership of every provider relationship. Nothing runs through us.
Ask about running costsIf you need something outside the Scope Card, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Your original order runs on its normal timeline either way. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionMonthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates, a monthly health report and monthly hours for changes such as a new metric, an added alert or a changed cadence. It starts after the 30 days of support, bills monthly, and can be cancelled any month.
$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A reporting dashboard tool bills per seat whether clients open it or not | An analyst assembles reports manually each cycle | Ours is one fixed price, shown on this page before you buy |
| Scope | A reporting dashboard tool is a blank canvas you build metrics into yourself | Scope depends on the analyst's time that cycle | Ours is written on the Scope Card before purchase |
| Accuracy check | A reporting dashboard tool rarely checks against your own historical numbers first | Accuracy depends on who compiled it | Ours is checked against three months of your own historical data |
| Delivery | Sign-up is instant, wiring up real metrics is not | Typically several weeks before work even begins | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
The one-time build price is shown in the price and delivery panel on this page, next to each delivery speed. It covers everything on the Scope Card: the metrics you define, the report or dashboard format, up to five alerts, and a check against three months of your historical data before launch. That price holds once your Scope Card is confirmed.
Client Reporting is client-facing: it assembles the report or dashboard your clients actually see, on the cadence you set. AI Project Status Agent is internal-facing, tracking and summarizing project status for your own team so nothing goes to a client without review. The two can run side by side, one for clients and one for your delivery team.
Yes. Up to five alerts run outside the normal cadence, so something like a budget nearing its limit or a milestone at risk reaches the recipient you named as soon as it happens, rather than waiting for the next weekly or monthly report to go out to the client.
Roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage plus hosting and the scheduler. The figure moves with how many metrics and alerts you run and how often reports go out. You pay providers directly. The one-time build price is separate and shown in the price and delivery panel on this page.
The price and delivery panel on this page shows the time for each speed, counted from the day your intake is complete and read-only access is verified. Most of the build goes into checking every metric against three months of your own historical data, so the first report your clients receive matches the numbers your team already trusts.
It needs read-only access to each data source you name, such as your project management, time-tracking or financial system, plus at least three months of historical data to check against. Admin access and API keys are shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email, and nothing connected is given write access.
Yes. Adding a metric or an alert within your existing 25-metric limit fits inside the monthly change hours that come with maintenance. A fourth data source or a change to the reporting cadence beyond what's in scope gets a written Change Quote first.
Order AI Client Reporting and client-facing reports assemble themselves on your cadence on a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
