AI Pipeline Intelligence for Salesforce

Salesforce opportunities at risk of slipping are flagged with a reason, across every rep and stage, before quarter end.

Before every forecast meeting, someone rebuilds the same risk spreadsheet from Salesforce. This build does it automatically. It analyses opportunities, stage history, tasks and activity, counts close-date pushes as a warning sign, and flags opportunities at risk of slipping with a plain reason. Flags land on an opportunity field, so managers see them in the list views and reports they already use.

  • At-risk opportunities flagged with a clear reason in Salesforce
  • Close-date pushes counted as risk, not quietly hidden
  • Flags visible in the list views and reports managers use

What it is

AI Pipeline Intelligence for Salesforce analyses opportunities, stage history, tasks and activity in Salesforce, and flags those that are stalling, at risk or slipping by the standards of your own past results. Flags land on an opportunity field and in a recurring report. Your admin approves the field it writes to.

Why businesses buy it

Salesforce holds everything you need to spot slipping deals, but turning it into a clear risk picture takes hours of manual work each week. When close dates move quarter after quarter, nobody notices the pattern until the number is missed. This build reads your own history to decide what at-risk means for your team, then writes flags and reasons straight into Salesforce. Managers coach on facts, not hunches. The fields, record types and alert rules are written into the scope before you order, so your admin approves every change upfront.

Problems this solves

Close dates keep slipping without anyone spotting the pattern

The tool analyses opportunities, stage history, tasks and activity in Salesforce. It flags opportunities that are stalling, at risk or slipping, judged by your own past results.

Risk signals sit in a separate tool reps never open

Flags land on an opportunity field in Salesforce and in a recurring report. Reps and managers see them in their usual list views and dashboards.

Admins need control over which field a tool writes to

Your admin approves the field it writes to, and the mapping is documented. Results are checked against three months of your historical data before launch.

A good fit if

Your sales team runs on Salesforce opportunities, and managers rebuild the same risk spreadsheet before every forecast meeting.
Close dates get pushed quarter after quarter, and you want those pushes counted as a risk signal, not hidden.
You need risk visible inside Salesforce list views and reports, where managers already work.
A Salesforce admin can set up a connected app with an API-enabled user and give us 30 minutes on field mapping.

Not the right fit if

You run HubSpot. See AI Pipeline Intelligence for HubSpot.
You run Pipedrive. See AI Pipeline Intelligence for Pipedrive.
You want a briefing on one opportunity's contacts and history before a meeting. See AI Deal Intelligence.
Your Salesforce data needs cleaning and updating before analysis is useful. See AI CRM Assistant for Salesforce.

How it works

  1. Your admin creates a connected app with an API-enabled user; a 30-minute call maps opportunity fields, record types, stage history and the field that will hold the flag.
  2. At least three months of Salesforce history is read, including how often close dates moved and how long won opportunities stayed in each stage.
  3. Definitions are built from those patterns, for example an opportunity whose close date has moved twice and has no completed task in a set period.
  4. On your schedule, open opportunities are checked and the flag and reason are written to the mapped field, so Salesforce reports and list views can use them.
  5. A recurring report shows flagged opportunities by owner and stage, and up to five alerts cover the cases you care about most, such as a large opportunity slipping.
  6. Before launch, past flags are compared with real outcomes in your history, and thresholds are tuned with you over two rounds of changes.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • A Salesforce connected app with an API-enabled user, shared securely in the way agreed, never by email.
  • Your Salesforce admin for 30 minutes on opportunity fields, record types and the flag field.
  • How your team defines stages, forecast categories and a healthy opportunity today.
  • Your sales playbook or sample emails, if available.
  • At least three months of Salesforce opportunity history, plus access to one other source if needed.
  • Report recipients, the delivery channel and one decision-maker.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can help managers act on slipping opportunities earlier.
  • Keeps risk signals inside Salesforce, where the team already looks.
Close-date pushes per opportunity
Use Salesforce opportunity field history to compare close-date changes for the quarter before and after launch.
Flagged opportunities won
Report on opportunities with the flag field set, counting how many were later won.
Forecast accuracy
Compare Salesforce forecast with closed-won amounts for matching quarters.

Before you start: Run a Salesforce report on last quarter's close-date changes and compare forecast with actual results.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

You pay for the build once. Running costs are about $20 to $150 a month for AI usage and hosting or scheduling, billed in your own accounts. Salesforce licenses are untouched and not part of the build.

AI usage while we test against your history is billed to you as well, so the connected app and accounts stay under your control.

Custom requirements

Custom Salesforce objects, more than the agreed record types, or a third data source such as a data warehouse needs a written Change Quote. Note it at checkout and the quote follows.

Keep it running

After launch, monthly maintenance keeps the analysis aligned with your org. It covers monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates, a monthly health report and enough monthly change hours for new record types, revised forecast categories or extra alerts. It starts after the 30 days of support and can be cancelled any month.

$250/mo (5% of the build price a month, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

Why does the Salesforce pipeline edition cost more than the HubSpot one?

Salesforce data is broader and more varied: leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, tasks and activity history, often across several record types. Mapping and testing all of that properly takes more work than lighter CRMs. The analysis itself is the same. Each edition's fixed price and delivery options are shown on its own page before you buy.

Does it use Salesforce close-date changes as a warning sign?

Yes. Opportunity history shows how often a close date has moved, and repeated pushes are one of the strongest signals in many pipelines. How many pushes count as risk is set from your own history, not a fixed rule, and reviewed with you before launch.

Can Salesforce reports and list views use the risk flag?

Yes. The flag and its reason are written to the opportunity field agreed in the mapping, so your admin can add it to list views, reports and dashboards like any other field. The build does not change stage, amount, owner or close date.

Why is maintenance worth having for Salesforce?

Because Salesforce orgs tend to change often, with new record types, fields and forecast categories. Monthly maintenance includes a monthly allowance of change hours to keep definitions in step, and the allowance scales with the build. It starts after the 30 days of support.

What Salesforce user does pipeline intelligence run as?

The API-enabled user linked to the connected app your admin creates. Its profile and permission sets limit what it can read and write, so you can restrict it to the objects and the single flag field in the mapping. Access is shared securely and never by email.

Does it account for different Salesforce record types?

Yes, for the record types agreed in the mapping. New business, renewals and expansions usually move at different speeds, so each gets its own stage timings and thresholds. Adding record types later fits within the monthly change hours of maintenance or a Change Quote.
