AI Lead Qualification Agent

Inbound leads get a short conversation, a score against your criteria, and a clear next step for your reps.

Your reps should spend their time with buyers, not asking the same five opening questions to people who were never going to buy. This agent holds a short, friendly conversation with each inbound lead, asks what your reps would ask first, and scores the lead against your own criteria. The score and its reasoning land in your CRM, with a clear next step.

  • Every inbound lead gets a prompt, friendly first conversation
  • Scores based on your own criteria, with the reasoning written down
  • Reps spend their time on leads ready to buy

What it is

AI Lead Qualification Agent has a short conversation with each inbound lead, asks the questions your reps would ask first, and scores the lead against your own criteria before it reaches a person. The score and its reasoning are written into your CRM, so reps know exactly why a lead is ready.

Why businesses buy it

Slow responses lose good leads, and unqualified ones waste your most expensive hours. Most sales teams suffer both at once: hot prospects wait while reps work through poor fits. This agent replies quickly, asks the right questions, checks what your CRM already knows and explains every score, so your team trusts the result and acts on it. Qualification becomes consistent instead of a gut call. The criteria, channel and workflows are written on the Scope Card before you order, and tested before launch.

Problems this solves

Reps spend first calls on leads that were never a fit

The agent has a short conversation with each inbound lead and asks the questions your reps would ask first. It scores the lead against your own criteria before a person gets involved.

Nobody knows why a lead was marked hot or cold

The score and its reasoning are written into your CRM. Reps can see exactly why a lead is ready, and managers can check scoring against real outcomes.

Inbound leads wait hours for a first response

Leads are engaged in the agreed channel as they arrive, rather than waiting for a rep to be free. The conversation follows workflows you approve during setup.

A good fit if

Inbound leads come in through a form, chat widget or email, and your reps spend time on the same first few questions every time.
You have qualification criteria in mind, even informal ones, such as budget range, company size or timeline.
You want a consistent, documented reason for why a lead was scored the way it was, not a gut call.
Your CRM is where reps pick up qualified leads to work, so a score and notes there actually get used.

Not the right fit if

You don't have inbound leads yet and need new prospects found first. See AI Lead Generation Engine.
Your leads just need company and contact data filled in, not a qualifying conversation. See AI Lead Enrichment.
You want outbound outreach written and sequenced for prospects who haven't contacted you. See AI SDR Agent.
You also want leads who are not ready nurtured over weeks, then handed to a rep as sales-ready deals. See AI Sales Agent.
You need more than six workflows or more than two connected systems. Add a note at checkout and we quote the extra scope, or start from a custom build.

How it works

  1. A new inbound lead arrives, and the agent opens a short conversation on the channel you chose, such as chat or a form follow-up.
  2. It asks the qualifying questions from your playbook, in the order and tone your reps would normally use.
  3. It reads deal stage, owner and any earlier history in your CRM, so it doesn't ask something you already know.
  4. It scores the lead against your criteria and writes the score, with its reasoning, into the CRM record.
  5. A rep only sees leads that pass your bar, or anything scored as borderline, based on the approval rules you set.
  6. It logs the full conversation, so a rep can read exactly what the lead said before the first call.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Admin access to your CRM, sandbox or test records are fine to start.
  • Your qualification criteria, such as budget range, company size, timeline or refund policy where relevant.
  • Your sales playbook, or a handful of sample conversations that show how your reps qualify a lead today.
  • Ten real sample conversations or emails, so scoring reflects how your team actually thinks.
  • The person who approves leads that score as borderline.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • One decision-maker who can sign off on the final setup.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can keep rep time for leads that fit
  • Helps inbound leads get a prompt first response
  • Makes lead scores easy to understand and question
Time to first response
Compare lead created time with first contact time in your CRM, for the month before launch and the month after.
Qualified leads that book a meeting
Report on meetings booked from leads scored as qualified, and compare with past inbound leads.
Rep calls with unqualified leads
Ask reps to tag first calls as fit or no-fit for a few weeks before launch and after.

Before you start: Pull last month's average first-response time and how many inbound leads became meetings. Ask reps how many first calls were a poor fit.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running it costs roughly $50 to $250 a month in AI model usage and hosting, billed to your own accounts, on top of whatever CRM plan you already pay for.

AI usage during the build and testing is billed the same way, in your own accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours.

Custom requirements

Add a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.

Keep it running

We recommend monthly maintenance for this build, for monitoring, fixes and adjustments to scoring criteria as your offer changes. The change hours scale with the build. Maintenance starts after the thirty days of post-launch support and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

Does a lead know they're talking to AI during the qualifying conversation?

Yes, where the channel involves a written or spoken exchange, the greeting includes a short disclosure in your own wording, agreed during setup. Leads are told before the qualifying questions start, so there's no ambiguity about who, or what, they're talking to.

What happens to a lead that scores as borderline against our criteria?

It goes to the person you named as the approver for that workflow, along with the score and its written reasoning attached, rather than being auto-passed or auto-rejected without review. You decide exactly how borderline leads get handled during the setup process.

What's the ongoing monthly cost for running the qualifying conversations?

Roughly $50 to $250 a month in AI model usage and hosting, paid in your own accounts, on top of your existing CRM plan. We charge nothing extra per conversation held or per lead scored, however many run each month.

Can we change the qualifying questions once it's already live?

Yes. Updates to the questions or scoring weights fit inside the monthly change hours once you have maintenance. A bigger change, such as a new qualification path for a different product line, is scoped as a written Change Quote first.

Does it also find new leads, or only qualify the ones that already reached us?

This build only qualifies leads that have already reached you through an inbound channel of some kind. If you also need new prospects found from scratch and added to your CRM, see AI Lead Generation Engine, which pairs well with this agent when you want both a fuller pipeline and cleaner handoffs.

How much of our reps' own time does the qualification setup take?

Expect to spend one to two hours on intake, mainly gathering qualification criteria and ten sample conversations, inside the seventy-two-hour window after ordering the build. After that, expect roughly an hour to review the fifty test scenarios before launch, plus the handoff session.

What if the scoring doesn't match how our reps actually judge a lead?

You get two rounds of changes built into the price, after reviewing the fifty documented test scenarios, so most scoring mismatches get caught before launch. Anything that still doesn't match the Scope Card in the first five working days is fixed at no extra cost.

Who owns the conversation transcripts and the scores it produces?

You do. Every transcript and score is written directly into your own CRM, so the full record stays inside your system, not ours. Thirty days of post-launch support are included, and monthly maintenance picks up from there if you want it.

Stop letting reps waste time on the wrong leads.

Order the AI Lead Qualification Agent and every inbound lead arrives in your CRM scored, explained and ready for the right next step. The criteria are agreed in writing before you pay.
