AI products that work with Tally
Plenty of businesses keep their books in Tally, and plenty of hours go into keying supplier invoices by hand. These two products cut that down. AI Invoice Intelligence reads each supplier invoice, checks it and codes it. The AI Accounts Payable Agent adds matching and approval routing. Both connect to Tally through its XML/ODBC interface, working with vouchers, ledgers and masters.

How do these products connect to Tally?
Both editions talk to Tally through its XML/ODBC interface. That lets them read your ledgers and masters, so invoices are coded to accounts and parties that already exist, and write vouchers back once the data is checked. Your accountant keeps working in Tally as usual. The difference is that entries arrive ready to review instead of waiting to be typed.
- Reads ledgers and masters from Tally
- Creates purchase and payment vouchers
- Codes invoices to your existing accounts
- Connects through Tally's XML/ODBC interface
Invoice Intelligence or the Accounts Payable Agent?
Choose AI Invoice Intelligence for Tally if your main pain is getting supplier invoices captured accurately and coded correctly. Choose the AI Accounts Payable Agent for Tally if you also want the steps after that handled, such as matching invoices and routing them for approval before payment vouchers are created. Growing finance teams often start with the first and move to the second.
Questions buyers ask
Does Tally need any special setup?
The products use Tally's XML/ODBC interface, so that connection needs to be available from your Tally installation. The Scope Card lists the access and settings required. Your Tally administrator or accountant can check it before you order, which avoids surprises once setup starts.
Will it create entries without our accountant checking?
How entries are reviewed is agreed in the Scope Card. AI Invoice Intelligence validates invoice data before it is coded, and the AI Accounts Payable Agent routes invoices for approval. Your accountant decides which steps need a human check, so nothing lands in your books against your wishes.
What types of vouchers does the payables agent handle?
The AI Accounts Payable Agent for Tally reads and updates purchase and payment vouchers, along with ledgers and masters. That covers the path from a supplier invoice arriving to its approval and payment record. The exact flow for your business is written into the Scope Card.
How the connection is set up
The general pattern we follow for every integration.
- 1You create the necessary access in your Tally account: a private app, an API key, or an OAuth approval, depending on what Tally supports.
- 2We agree a secure way to share access during intake. Please never send passwords or API keys by email.
- 3We agree the field mapping with you and test it on sample records before anything goes live.
- 4You can revoke access from Tally or the portal at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Which Tally plan do I need?
It depends on the product. Each product page lists the Tally features it relies on; plan upgrades are not included.
Will it change my existing data?
Only the fields in the mapping agreed with you, and that mapping is tested on sample records before anything goes live.
Can I use a different platform instead?
Many products also have editions for other platforms. See the full integrations list for what is currently published.
