AI Accounts Payable Agent
Runs invoice intake, matching and approval routing for payables.
Purchase invoices are read and posted to Tally as checked vouchers against the right party ledger, without manual voucher entry.
If your accounts run in Tally, an accounts assistant is probably typing purchase vouchers in from paper and PDF invoices every day. It is repetitive work where one wrong ledger or tax entry causes trouble later. This build reads each purchase invoice, matches the party ledger you already have, checks it against your rules, and posts a coded voucher to Tally on your own network. Doubtful invoices wait for review.

AI Invoice Intelligence for Tally reads purchase invoices from email or an upload folder, checks them against the ledgers, masters and vouchers already in your Tally company, and posts coded vouchers through Tally's XML/ODBC interface on your own network. Invoices that fail a rule are held for review. Data stays on your own network.
Daily voucher entry in Tally takes skilled time away from reconciliations, tax work and supplier queries. Wrong ledgers and duplicate party names cause clean-up work at return time. After this build, purchase invoices are posted as checked vouchers, and your accounts team reviews only the exceptions. The connection runs through Tally's XML/ODBC interface on your own network, so your data does not leave your control. The Scope Card spells out the ledgers, fields and rules before you pay, so your accountant can sign off with confidence.

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

Before you start: Note how many purchase vouchers are keyed each month and how many needed correction last month.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
You pay for the build once. Running it costs roughly $30 to $200 a month in your own accounts for OCR, AI usage and storage, on top of your Tally license and the machine that hosts it.
AI usage during build and testing is billed to your accounts too, and Tally stays on your own network. The build supports bookkeeping and is not regulated financial, tax or investment advice.
Ask about running costsPosting to more than one Tally company, adding sales vouchers, or connecting a third system is outside this Scope Card. Add a note at checkout and a written Change Quote follows.
Request a custom versionMonthly maintenance is recommended: monitoring, fixes and monthly change hours for things such as new party ledgers, new cost centers or a revised tax ledger mapping. Maintenance starts after the 30 days of support.

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Tally add-on tools are often licensed per company per year | A Tally partner charges per visit or per customization | Ours is one fixed price, shown before you buy |
| Party ledgers | An import utility may create a new ledger for each spelling | Depends on the partner | Ours matches existing ledger masters and queues unknowns |
| Reading invoices | Many import utilities need data already typed into a spreadsheet | An agency build depends on what was agreed | Ours reads the PDF or scan and builds the voucher |
| Delivery | A utility installs quickly but leaves the data entry to you | A partner works to their own schedule | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
Through Tally's XML/ODBC interface, using server access on your own network that your Tally administrator provides. Vouchers, ledgers and masters are read and written through that interface according to the documented field mapping. Your Tally data stays on your server rather than moving to another accounting system.
Yes. Because the connection uses Tally's XML/ODBC interface, the Tally server must be running and reachable on your network when vouchers are written. During setup we agree when that is, for example office hours, and test the connection on your actual machine before go-live.
Not on its own. Each supplier is matched to an existing party ledger master. If there is no confident match, the invoice waits for your reviewer, who can choose the right ledger or create one in Tally. That keeps your ledger list from filling with near-duplicates.
Yes, using the rules you give us, such as a cost center per site or department and a tax ledger per rate printed on the invoice. These choices are part of the agreed mapping. It captures tax amounts as printed and does not give tax advice or decide how a transaction should be treated.
The XML/ODBC connection to your Tally company, ledger and voucher mapping, validation rules and an exceptions queue. Testing runs on 100 of your own documents and ends with an accuracy report. You also get two rounds of changes, a recorded handoff session and 30 days of support after launch, all listed on the Scope Card.
We post the 100 test documents into a test company or backup copy that your administrator sets up, then compare the vouchers with the source invoices in an accuracy report. Live posting to your real company begins only after your decision-maker approves those results.
