AI products that work with Linear
Linear keeps your issues, projects and cycles in order. Keeping people informed about them is a separate job. These two products take it on. The AI Project Manager Agent tracks tasks, deadlines and blockers and posts status updates to your team. The AI Project Status Agent sends clients accurate project updates. Both read and update Linear directly.

What do the Linear editions take off your plate?
Someone always ends up chasing who is blocked, what slipped and what to tell the client. It eats time from the people who should be building. These editions read your issues, projects and cycles in Linear and turn them into updates. Your team hears about blockers early, and clients get status reports that match what is actually in the tracker.

Team updates or client updates?
The AI Project Manager Agent for Linear is for the people doing the work. It follows deadlines and blockers and keeps the team informed. The AI Project Status Agent for Linear faces outward, sending clients updates drawn from the same data. Agencies and studios that report to clients often want both, while product teams working internally usually need only the project manager agent.
Questions buyers ask
Will the agent change issues in Linear?
Both editions read and update issues, projects and cycles. What kind of updates they make, and which ones need a person to confirm, is defined in the Scope Card. Many teams let the agent add comments or flags while keeping status changes in human hands.
How do client updates stay accurate?
The AI Project Status Agent builds its updates from your Linear data, so it reports what the tracker shows rather than what someone remembers. If your team keeps Linear current, the client update will match. The Scope Card covers the format and how often updates go out.
Can clients see our internal issue details?
Clients receive status updates, not access to Linear. What those updates include and leave out is agreed in the Scope Card, so internal notes and sensitive details stay internal. A person can review updates before sending if you prefer, especially early on.
How the connection is set up
The general pattern we follow for every integration.
- 1You create the necessary access in your Linear account: a private app, an API key, or an OAuth approval, depending on what Linear supports.
- 2We agree a secure way to share access during intake. Please never send passwords or API keys by email.
- 3We agree the field mapping with you and test it on sample records before anything goes live.
- 4You can revoke access from Linear or the portal at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Which Linear plan do I need?
It depends on the product. Each product page lists the Linear features it relies on; plan upgrades are not included.
Will it change my existing data?
Only the fields in the mapping agreed with you, and that mapping is tested on sample records before anything goes live.
Can I use a different platform instead?
Many products also have editions for other platforms. See the full integrations list for what is currently published.
