AI products that work with Greenhouse
Hiring teams on Greenhouse spend a lot of time on two tasks: sorting applications and juggling interview calendars. These AI systems handle both inside Greenhouse. One screens applications against your role criteria and builds shortlists for reviewers. The other coordinates interview times with candidates and panels.

Where do recruiters lose time in Greenhouse?
Popular roles attract more applications than a recruiter can read carefully, and good candidates can wait too long. Once a shortlist exists, scheduling interviews across busy panels becomes its own back-and-forth. Both tasks are vital but repetitive. Taking them off recruiters frees time for candidate conversations and hiring manager alignment, the parts of hiring that really need people.
How do the two Greenhouse products work?
AI Resume Screening for Greenhouse screens applications against the criteria you set for each role and produces shortlists for reviewers. It reads and updates jobs, candidates, applications and scorecards. AI Interview Scheduling for Greenhouse coordinates times with candidates and interview panels, reading and updating jobs, candidates, applications and scheduled interviews.
Many teams use both, since a faster shortlist only helps if interviews get booked quickly afterward. Because both products work with the same jobs, candidates and applications, a candidate moves from shortlist to booked interview without anyone retyping details between steps.
Questions buyers ask
Does the AI reject candidates on its own?
AI Resume Screening for Greenhouse produces shortlists for reviewers, so a person on your team makes the hiring decisions. Your role criteria are agreed up front and written into the Scope Card. We recommend your team reviews those criteria with fairness in mind before screening begins.
Will interview invites come from our own accounts?
The scheduling product runs in your own accounts and works with jobs, candidates, applications and scheduled interviews in Greenhouse. How invitations are sent, and which calendars are involved, is set out in the Scope Card so candidates have a consistent experience that matches your brand.
Can we start with just one of the two?
Yes. Each has its own Scope Card. If application volume is the pain, start with screening. If shortlists exist but interviews take too long to book, start with scheduling. Adding the second later is simple, because both work with the same Greenhouse records.
How the connection is set up
The general pattern we follow for every integration.
- 1You create the necessary access in your Greenhouse account: a private app, an API key, or an OAuth approval, depending on what Greenhouse supports.
- 2We agree a secure way to share access during intake. Please never send passwords or API keys by email.
- 3We agree the field mapping with you and test it on sample records before anything goes live.
- 4You can revoke access from Greenhouse or the portal at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Which Greenhouse plan do I need?
It depends on the product. Each product page lists the Greenhouse features it relies on; plan upgrades are not included.
Will it change my existing data?
Only the fields in the mapping agreed with you, and that mapping is tested on sample records before anything goes live.
Can I use a different platform instead?
Many products also have editions for other platforms. See the full integrations list for what is currently published.
