Candidates moved to an interview stage in Workable get times agreed with your panel, without recruiters chasing calendars.
Workable keeps your candidates moving through stages, but the interview itself still gets arranged by email. When you hire for several roles at once, that falls on one or two people. This workflow starts when you move a candidate into your interview stage, checks the panel's calendar, sends a message in your tone and records the slot in Workable. If nothing fits, a named person hears about it.

AI Interview Scheduling for Workable coordinates interview times with candidates and panels, starting from the stages your team moves candidates into in Workable. A Workable API token connects jobs, candidates and stages, and one background workflow of up to 12 steps does the coordination, recording each agreed interview against the candidate.
Small hiring teams on Workable often run many roles with the same few people, and scheduling is the task that piles up first. Candidates wait, panels double-book, and recruiters spend afternoons on calendar puzzles. This build gives that job to a background workflow that starts from your own Workable stages and keeps going across every open job. You decide the trigger stage, the calendar it reads and who handles clashes, and all of it is written on the Scope Card before you order, so the outcome is clear from day one.
When your team moves a candidate into an interview stage in Workable, coordination starts on its own. Times are proposed to the candidate and panel without anyone starting a thread.
Each agreed interview is recorded against the candidate in Workable. The team sees the booking where they already work, with no separate calendar to check.
One background workflow of up to twelve steps handles the coordination the same way each time. A Workable API token connects jobs, candidates and stages.

When a recruiter moves a candidate into the interview stage you nominated at intake, the workflow reads that candidate and job from Workable and begins coordinating. Moves into other stages do nothing. Recruiters stay in charge of progression; the workflow only arranges the time.
Yes, within the one workflow. Jobs are part of the Workable mapping, so candidates for different jobs follow the same scheduling steps, with each job's details used in the messages. If some jobs need a genuinely different routine, that is a second workflow, available as the Additional Workflow add-on.
The workflow does not force a booking. The person you named for alerts and errors is told, with the candidate and the clash, so a recruiter can sort it out. How clashes are handled is checked in the 20 runs on your sample data before launch.
