AI Sales Forecasting

A weekly revenue forecast with the reasoning behind each number, not a black-box percentage.

If your forecast changes depending on which rep you ask, it is not really a forecast. This build produces a weekly revenue forecast from your pipeline data and shows the reasoning behind every number: which deals moved, which slipped and why the total changed. Leadership gets a figure they can question and trust, and nobody spends Friday afternoon rebuilding a spreadsheet.

  • A weekly revenue forecast built from your real pipeline data
  • The reasoning behind every number, not a black-box percentage
  • Alerts when the forecast moves, with the deals that moved it

What it is

AI Sales Forecasting produces a weekly revenue forecast from your pipeline data and shows the reasoning behind each number, so leadership sees why a figure moved, not just that it did. It is calibrated against your own closed-deal history, and alerts go out when the forecast shifts, naming the deals behind the change.

Why businesses buy it

Forecasts built on rep guesses swing week to week, and leadership loses confidence in the number. Planning, hiring and cash decisions then rest on shaky ground. This build calibrates against your own closed-won and closed-lost history and explains each figure in plain language, so everyone can see why the number moved. Sales leaders spend forecast meetings on decisions, not debates. The forecast categories, stage definitions and delivery schedule are written into the scope before you order, so you know exactly how the number will be built.

Problems this solves

The weekly forecast is a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts

A weekly forecast is built from your pipeline data and calibrated against your own closed-deal history. Each number comes with its reasoning, so leaders can check the logic instead of arguing about it.

Leadership sees the forecast move but not why it moved

When the forecast shifts, an alert goes to your chosen channel naming the deals behind the change. Managers can go straight to those deals instead of rebuilding the sheet to find them.

Forecast calls take hours of rep and manager time each week

The recurring report answers up to 25 defined questions, such as what is committed and what is best case. Forecast meetings can then focus on deals rather than reading numbers aloud.

A good fit if

You currently build a forecast by having reps guess a close percentage per deal, and the number changes depending on who is asked.
Leadership wants to know why the forecast moved week to week, not just a single top-line figure with no explanation.
You have at least three months of historical CRM data with closed-won and closed-lost outcomes to calibrate the forecast against.
You want the forecast delivered on a schedule, to email, Slack or a dashboard, without someone manually building a spreadsheet each week.

Not the right fit if

You want deal-level risk flags across the whole pipeline, not a single revenue number. See AI Pipeline Intelligence.
You want a briefing on one deal's status and stakeholders, not portfolio-level forecasting. See AI Deal Intelligence.
Your CRM data is inconsistent enough that a forecast built on it would not be trustworthy. See AI CRM Assistant first.
You need more than three read-only data sources or more than five alerts. Add a note at checkout for a written Change Quote.

How it works

  1. We connect read-only access to your CRM and agree the metrics that should drive the forecast, such as stage, deal age and historical close rates by segment.
  2. We check the forecasting logic against at least three months of your closed-won and closed-lost history, so the model reflects how your deals actually close, not a generic curve.
  3. A weekly forecast is generated showing the projected number alongside the reasoning: which deals are driving it up or down and why.
  4. Up to five alerts are configured for meaningful forecast changes, such as a large deal moving out of the current period.
  5. You review the forecast against a real recent period during testing, and we adjust the model until the reasoning holds up.
  6. Once live, the forecast refreshes weekly and is delivered to the channel you chose, with the reasoning attached every time.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Read-only access to your CRM and any other data source that should feed the forecast, sandbox access if available.
  • Your definitions of the metrics that matter, such as how you currently weight stage or deal age.
  • At least three months of historical data, including closed-won and closed-lost outcomes, to calibrate the model.
  • The recipients for the forecast and the channel it should be delivered to.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • One decision-maker who can confirm the forecasting metrics and thresholds before we build.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Forecast accuracy
Each month, compare the forecast made at the start of the month with revenue actually closed. Track the gap across two quarters.
Time spent preparing the forecast
Ask managers to log forecast-prep hours for four weeks before launch and four weeks after.
Unforecast slips and surprises
Count large deals that slipped or closed without being forecast last quarter, then compare with the quarter after launch.

Before you start: Record your last two quarters of forecast-versus-actual figures. Note the hours managers spend each week preparing the forecast.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build is a one-time payment. Running it costs roughly $20 to $150 a month in AI model usage and hosting or scheduler costs, on top of the CRM plan you already pay for. Cost tracks how often the forecast refreshes and the size of the pipeline it evaluates: a weekly forecast over a few hundred deals sits at the low end.

AI usage during build and testing is billed to your own accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours.

Custom requirements

Add a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.

Keep it running

After launch, monthly maintenance keeps the forecast calibrated as your business changes: monitoring, fixes and monthly change hours for reweighted metrics or a new alert. It starts after the 30 days of included support and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

How much does the AI Sales Forecasting build cost?

One fixed price, shown on this page before you buy, covers the whole build: calibration against your historical close rates, the forecast model, the reasoning output and the recorded handoff. There are no seat licenses or per-use fees from us. Express and rush delivery are available for a set extra amount, also shown upfront. Ongoing AI usage and hosting are billed in your own accounts, so you always see what you pay.

How accurate is the forecast?

It is calibrated against at least three months of your own closed-won and closed-lost history, so accuracy tracks how consistent your pipeline data and sales process are, rather than a fixed guarantee that applies regardless of your data quality. A cleaner CRM with fewer stale deals tends to produce a tighter, more reliable number.

Can I see why the number moved?

Yes. Every forecast is delivered with the reasoning behind it: which deals are driving the number up or down and why, so leadership sees the story behind the figure, not just a total with no explanation. That reasoning is often more useful to leadership than the headline figure itself.

What will this cost to run month to month?

Roughly $20 to $150 a month in AI model usage and hosting or scheduler costs, on top of your existing CRM plan, tracking how often the forecast refreshes and the size of the pipeline it evaluates. Cost tracks how often the forecast refreshes and the size of the pipeline it evaluates each week.

How often does the forecast update?

Weekly by default, delivered to the channel you chose during intake, such as email, Slack or a dashboard. A different refresh schedule can be set as part of the build if weekly does not fit your cadence. Some teams prefer a mid-week update instead, which we can set during the build.

Does it write anything back into my CRM?

No. It reads your data sources read-only and produces a forecast and alerts only; your CRM records are never changed, so there is no risk to the deal data reps rely on day to day. That separation keeps the forecasting model safely apart from your working records.

Can I adjust the weighting later?

Yes. Small adjustments, such as reweighting a metric or changing how deal age factors in, fit inside the monthly change hours that come with maintenance. A full re-calibration against new historical data is scoped as a separate request. Maintenance also covers monitoring, fixes and a new alert, and can be cancelled any month.

Who owns the forecast and the model behind it?

You do. It runs on your own CRM data, and the forecast, the underlying logic and every AI provider relationship stay in your name, not tied to a platform we control. We do not retain a separate copy of the model after handoff.

Know why the number moved, not just that it did.

Order AI Sales Forecasting and every week you get a forecast with the reasoning behind every figure, on a delivery date you see before you pay.
