AI Translation Agent

Any document or page you send over comes back translated in your tone, with your terms handled the way you specify.

Machine translation gets the words across but often loses your tone and mangles your product names. AI Translation Agent translates the documents, pages and text you send into one target language, locking your glossary terms and following the tone rules you set. Results read as if they were written for that market. A native-language review step is available before anything goes live.

  • Glossary and do-not-translate terms kept exactly as you set
  • Tone adapted for the market, not word-for-word swaps
  • Translations delivered straight to your chosen destination

What it is

AI Translation Agent is a build that translates the documents, pages or text you send it into one target language, using a glossary and tone rules you set so results read as written for that market, not machine-flat. Protected terms stay exactly as you specify, and a native-language review step is available.

Why businesses buy it

Selling or supporting customers in another language means a steady stream of text to translate. Agencies are slow for small jobs, and generic tools get brand terms and tone wrong, so someone ends up fixing every page. After this build, content goes in and comes back translated with your glossary respected and your voice intact, ready for a quick check rather than a rewrite. The Scope Card fixes the target language, glossary setup and destination in writing before you buy, so you know exactly what the agent will do.

Problems this solves

Machine translations read flat and do not sound like your brand

The agent translates into one target language using tone rules and a glossary you set. Results read as written for that market, guided by your brand profile and reference examples.

Product and brand names get translated when they should not

Protected terms, such as product and brand names, stay exactly as you specify. The glossary is applied to every document, page or text the agent handles.

Every translation request waits for an outside agency

Documents, pages or text sent to the agent come back translated to one destination, such as a drive or inbox. Up to three output formats can be set up.

A good fit if

You have a steady stream of documents, pages or product text that needs translating into one other language, on request.
You already have brand terms, names or phrases that must never be translated, and a glossary you can hand over.
You want a fixed process: content goes in, a translated and tone-checked version comes back, without you managing a translator relationship.
You need one destination, such as a CMS, drive folder or store, to receive the finished translations.

Not the right fit if

You need every page of your site adapted at once, including navigation and layout text. See AI Website Localization, built for a whole site.
Your priority is product listings and catalog copy specifically. See AI Product Localization, scoped to ecommerce content.
You need a campaign adapted for a new market, with phrasing and references changed, not a straight translation. See AI Marketing Localization, the next step up.
You need brand-new content written for a region, not a translation of something that already exists. See AI Regional Content Agent.
You already have translated content and just need it checked before it goes live. See AI Localization QA, which reviews rather than produces.

How it works

  1. You send the source content: a document, a batch of pages, or text pulled from Google Drive or your CMS.
  2. The agent applies your brand glossary first, locking names, product terms and any do-not-translate phrases before translation starts.
  3. Each piece is translated into your target language, then passed through a tone check against the examples you approved, not word-for-word swapping.
  4. A native-language review step runs when you enable it, catching phrasing that is technically correct but reads wrong to a native speaker.
  5. Finished translations are delivered to your one connected destination, such as WordPress with WPML or Polylang, Webflow, or a Google Drive folder.
  6. You review 25 sample outputs before launch and request changes across two rounds before the build is signed off.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Your brand guidelines and a handful of tone-of-voice examples so translated copy sounds like you, not a generic translation.
  • Ten to twenty reference pieces you already like, used to calibrate tone before the first real batch runs.
  • Access to the one destination the finished translations land in, such as your CMS, store or drive folder.
  • The glossary of brand terms, product names and phrases that should never be translated.
  • The name of the person who reviews and approves translated output during testing.
  • Admin access and API keys for the connected destination, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake, and one decision-maker who can sign off at launch.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

  • Makes it easier to support customers in their own language.
Translation turnaround
Compare request-to-delivery time for similar pieces before and after launch.
Outputs approved without edits
Track how many translations your reviewer accepts unchanged each month.
Glossary errors
Count protected terms changed in error during spot checks each month.

Before you start: Record how long translations take today and how they are produced. Keep a few past translations to compare quality against.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running the Translation Agent afterward costs roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, mostly AI model usage, and it scales with how much content you send through each month.

AI usage during the build and testing is billed to your own accounts as well, so the provider relationship is yours from day one, not ours.

Custom requirements

Need a second target language, a second destination system, or more output formats than the Scope Card lists? Add a note at checkout and you get a written Change Quote, only starting once you accept it. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.

Keep it running

Monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, updates, a monthly health report and change hours, enough to update the glossary or tune a tone example. It starts once the 30 days of support end and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

How much does AI Translation Agent cost?

The fixed price for each delivery speed is shown in the price and delivery panel on this page before you order. It covers everything on the Scope Card: glossary setup, tone calibration against your reference examples, one target language and delivery to your one connected destination system. A second language is quoted in writing first.

Does AI Translation Agent translate whole websites?

It translates the documents, pages or batches of text you send it into one target language, delivered to a single destination. If you need your entire website adapted at once, including navigation, layout text and every page in scope, AI Website Localization is built specifically for that broader job, with its own price on its page.

What does AI Translation Agent cost to run each month?

Roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, mainly AI model usage that scales with how much content you send through. You pay providers directly, so there is no markup from us and no separate per-word fee. Heavier document volume sits toward the top of that range, lighter volume toward the bottom.

How does the glossary and tone matching actually work?

You hand over a glossary of brand terms, product names and phrases that should never change, plus ten to twenty reference examples showing the tone you want. The agent locks glossary terms first, then translates and checks the result against your reference tone before it reaches you, so it reads as written for that market.

Can I add a second language later?

Yes. The standard build covers one target language, and a second language is quoted as a Change Quote once you tell us at checkout or afterward. We suggest starting with your highest-priority market, confirming the glossary and tone are right, then expanding once the first language is running well.

What do we need to provide before AI Translation Agent can launch?

Your brand guidelines, ten to twenty reference examples you like, the glossary of terms to protect, and access to the one destination system the translations land in. We also need the name of the person approving sample outputs and admin access shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never sent by email.

How is this different from AI Localization QA?

AI Translation Agent produces new translated content from source text you send. AI Localization QA does the opposite job: it reviews content that has already been translated somewhere else and checks it for accuracy, consistency and cultural fit before publishing. Use Translation Agent to create translations and Localization QA to check them.

Can I cancel maintenance for AI Translation Agent?

Yes, any month. Maintenance starts after the 30 days of post-launch support end, runs month to month, and you can cancel without a fee. There is no lock-in. Bigger changes beyond the monthly change hours go through a Change Quote.

Stop paying per word for translations that miss your tone.

Order AI Translation Agent and it turns around glossary-checked, tone-matched translations on a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
