AI Pricing Intelligence Agent

Competitor and market pricing tracked continuously, with changes proposed for your review, not made for you.

Finding out a competitor changed their pricing a week late costs you sales or margin. Checking by hand costs your team hours. This agent watches competitor and market pricing across the sources you name, then proposes changes for your review on the schedule you set, with the reasoning and the source behind every suggestion. Nothing changes on your side until you decide.

  • Competitor and market pricing watched across the sources you name
  • Proposed changes with the reasoning and source shown
  • Your team signs off every pricing decision

What it is

AI Pricing Intelligence Agent is a standing tracker that watches competitor and market pricing across the sources you name, and proposes pricing changes for your review on the schedule you set, with the reasoning shown behind every suggestion. Each proposal links back to the source that triggered it.

Why businesses buy it

Pricing is one of the fastest levers a business has, yet most teams check competitors only when someone remembers. By then a rival's promotion has already taken orders, or you have left margin on the table. This agent keeps a steady watch and turns raw price movements into clear proposals, so pricing decisions are made on evidence, on time. It never changes a price itself. The sources, cadence and proposal format are written on the Scope Card before you order, and reviewed over two trial cycles.

Problems this solves

Competitor price changes are spotted only when customers mention them

The agent watches competitor and market pricing across up to 25 sources you name. Changes arrive in a regular brief, with alerts in between when something important moves.

Pricing decisions rest on gut feel rather than evidence

It proposes pricing changes for your review on the schedule you set. The reasoning behind every suggestion is shown, and each proposal links back to the source that triggered it.

Checking rival websites by hand takes hours every week

Tracking runs on its own across your agreed sources, competitors or topics. Your team reads one brief by email, Slack or Notion instead of visiting each site.

A good fit if

Your prices are compared against a known set of competitors or marketplaces, and checking them manually eats hours every week.
You want pricing changes proposed with the reasoning shown, not made automatically without your sign-off.
You already know which 25 or fewer competitors, products or sources matter to your pricing decisions.
A daily or weekly brief in email, Slack or Notion fits how your team already reviews pricing.

Not the right fit if

You only need competitor and marketplace prices tracked, without proposed changes. See AI Price Monitoring.
You need general market or competitor research beyond pricing specifically, such as product launches or messaging changes. See AI Research Agent.
You need vendor quotes compared for something you are buying, not your own sell-side pricing. See AI Procurement Agent.
You want pricing changes applied automatically, not proposed for review. That is a larger, custom automation, quoted separately through the Custom AI enquiry form.
You need more than 25 tracked sources or more than one delivery channel. Add a note at checkout for a Change Quote, or use the Custom AI enquiry form for larger tracking.

How it works

  1. The sources are set up. Up to 25 competitors, marketplaces or products you name are configured as what the agent watches for price and offer changes.
  2. Prices are checked on the schedule you choose, comparing what competitors charge against your current pricing and flagging where the gap has changed since the last check.
  3. A proposed change is drafted when the data supports one, with the reasoning shown: which competitor moved, by how much, and what it suggests for your price.
  4. The brief is delivered to your chosen channel, email, Slack or Notion, with proposed changes clearly separated from routine market observations.
  5. Nothing is applied automatically. Every proposed change sits for your review; you decide whether to act, adjust or ignore it.
  6. Two trial cycles are reviewed with you before launch, so the sources, thresholds and format are right before it becomes routine.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • The specific competitors, marketplaces or products you want price-tracked, up to 25 of them.
  • Your current pricing and the logic behind it, so proposed changes make sense against your own position.
  • Access to the channel the brief should land in, whether an inbox, a Slack workspace or a Notion page.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • One decision-maker who can approve the source list and thresholds during the build.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can cut the time spent checking competitor prices by hand
  • Helps pricing calls rest on sourced evidence
  • Makes it easier to respond while a market change is recent
Hours spent on price checks
Ask whoever checks prices to log weekly time for a month before launch and a month after.
Time from competitor change to awareness
For each alert, compare the source's change date with when your team saw it. Compare with past changes you caught late.
Proposals reviewed and decided
Keep a simple log of proposals received, reviewed and acted on each month.

Before you start: List the competitors you watch today and how often you check them. Note any recent price moves you learned about late.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running it costs roughly $20 to $120 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage and any web data or pricing API calls needed to track your sources. A shorter list with a weekly cadence sits at the low end; daily checks across the full 25 sources sit toward the top.

AI usage during build and testing is billed the same way, in accounts you control.

Custom requirements

Add a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.

Keep it running

Monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes and a monthly allowance of change hours for swapping tracked competitors, adjusting thresholds or tuning the proposal format. It starts after the 30 days of included support, bills monthly and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

Does it change my prices automatically?

No. It proposes changes with the reasoning shown clearly alongside each one, and you decide whether to act on it. Fully automatic price changes are a larger, custom automation, available separately through the Custom AI enquiry form if that is what you eventually need.

How does it track competitor prices?

By checking the sources you name, up to 25 competitors, marketplaces or products, on the schedule you choose, and comparing what it finds against your current pricing and against what it found on the previous check, so trends become visible over time.

What will this cost to run every month?

Roughly $20 to $120 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage and any pricing or web data APIs needed to check your sources. Cost depends on how many sources you track and how often, and there is no separate fee to us.

Can it track prices behind a login or a quote request?

Only where that access can actually be provided during intake. Publicly visible pricing is straightforward to track; pricing gated behind a login or a sales quote needs the relevant access shared with us as part of setup, which we discuss case by case.

How much of my own time will the build need?

Roughly one to two hours for intake, naming competitors and explaining your current pricing logic, spread across the 72 hours after you order. Then about 30 minutes reviewing each of the two trial cycles before the brief becomes part of your routine.

What if a tracked competitor changes their whole pricing model?

You can flag it during maintenance for a straightforward configuration update, using the monthly change hours. A fundamentally different pricing structure to track, such as a brand new tiered system, may need a short written Change Quote instead of a routine update.

How is this different from the AI Research Agent?

This build is scoped specifically to pricing: competitor prices, offers and the proposed changes that follow from them, with reasoning shown. AI Research Agent covers broader topics, competitors or questions well beyond pricing alone, delivered as a general sourced brief instead.

Should I choose this or AI Price Monitoring?

Choose by what you want back. AI Price Monitoring tracks prices across competitor and marketplace listings and reports what changed. AI Pricing Intelligence Agent does the same monitoring, then adds pricing recommendations for your own products, with the reasoning shown. If your team already decides prices well, monitoring alone may be enough.

Stop finding out a competitor cut prices a week late.

Order the AI Pricing Intelligence Agent and get competitor price moves turned into clear proposals for your review. Sources and cadence are agreed in writing before you pay.
