AI Document Extraction for Recruitment
Extracts structured data from documents into your systems, adapted for Recruitment businesses that key candidate CVs and compliance documents into their ATS…
Structured fields come out of any document type you define, with confidence scores, and land in your system of record.
Typing data from documents into your systems is slow, dull and error-prone, whatever the document is. This build reads the document types you define, pulls out up to 25 fields from each with a confidence score on every field, and checks them against your validation rules. Confident data goes to your system of record. Anything doubtful waits for a person.

AI Document Extraction is our main document product, taking documents from intake to your system in one build. It reads each document, whatever its type or layout, and pulls out the fields you define with a confidence score. Validation rules and a review queue are included, so only checked data is written.
Manual data entry costs twice: once in the hours spent keying, and again when a typo surfaces in a report, an invoice or a customer record. Templates based on fixed positions break the first time a layout changes. This build reads content, not position, and scores every field, so your team checks only the values that need it. It suits businesses whose documents vary in kind. The written scope fixes the document types, fields and systems before you buy.
Extraction pulls the fields you define from each document into structured data. It handles up to three document types with up to twenty-five fields each.
Every field comes with a confidence score, and validation rules check values before they move on. Low-confidence fields wait in a review queue, so only checked data is written.
The system reads document content rather than fixed positions, so varied layouts are handled. Results go to your system of record once they pass checks.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $3,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $4,600 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $5,250 |
Before you start: Record how many documents you process each week and the time each takes. Note how many data errors you find and fix in a typical month.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build price is one-time. Running Document Extraction costs roughly $30 to $200 a month in your own accounts, covering OCR and AI usage plus storage, and it moves with how many document pages pass through extraction each month.
AI usage during the build and testing is billed to your own accounts too, so every provider relationship stays yours, not ours.
Ask about running costsIf you need more than three document types, more than 25 fields per type, or a second intake route than the Scope Card lists, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionMonthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, updates, a health report and change hours each month, enough to add a field or adjust a validation rule. It starts after the 30 days of support end, bills monthly, and can be cancelled any month.
$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A generic extraction SaaS charges per document processed, and costs climb with volume | A custom agency quotes after discovery calls | Ours is one fixed price, shown on this page before you buy |
| Scope | A generic extraction SaaS is a tool you template and tune for each document type yourself | An agency agrees scope during the project | Ours is written on the Scope Card before purchase |
| Delivery | A generic extraction SaaS is live once you finish templating each document type | An agency usually takes several weeks, set per project | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
| Confidence checking | A generic extraction SaaS often posts results without flagging uncertainty | An agency build depends on what was agreed | Ours scores every field and queues low-confidence ones for review |
One fixed price covers the Scope Card: up to three document types, your field list with confidence scoring, validation rules, the review queue and the accuracy report before launch. The price panel on this page shows the figure for each delivery speed, and it is confirmed once your Scope Card is agreed. Extra document types are quoted before any work starts.
Invoice Intelligence is built specifically for supplier invoices, with line-item math checks and vendor coding baked in. Document Extraction is the general-purpose version, built to pull fields from any document type you define, up to three types at once. Choose Extraction when your documents vary in kind, not just in layout.
Yes, up to three document types in the standard build, each with up to 25 fields defined separately. A fourth type is available through a Change Quote, usually turned around. We recommend starting with your highest-volume document type and adding the others once the first one is proven on your real documents.
Roughly $30 to $200 a month in your own accounts, covering OCR and AI usage plus storage. The figure scales with how many document pages pass through extraction, and long multi-page documents cost more than single pages. There is no per-document fee from us, and monthly maintenance is optional.
It's held in a review queue instead of posting a guess to your system of record. The person you named checks the field, corrects it if needed, and only reviewed data reaches your destination system. Nothing uncertain is written automatically, which is the point of scoring every field individually.
Yes. Every credential and connected account is shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control during setup, never by email, and extracted data moves only between the systems you connected. Sensitive fields can be excluded from the field list entirely, and sample documents can be redacted before we ever see them ourselves.
The panel on this page shows the delivery time for each speed, counted from the day your intake is complete and access is verified. Most of the build goes into defining extraction rules and testing them against your real documents, so sending a varied set of samples early keeps the accuracy report honest and the launch on schedule.
Usually not. Extraction alone takes documents from your inbox or folder into your system, with validation rules and a review queue included. Add Classification only when one inbox receives many mixed document types that must be sorted first. If each inbox or folder carries one known type, Extraction covers you on its own.
Order AI Document Extraction and it pulls structured, confidence-scored fields from your documents on a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
