AI Competitor Website Monitor

Named competitors' own web pages checked for pricing, product and messaging changes, with a plain summary of exactly what moved.

Competitors change prices, launch products and rewrite their pitch without telling you. Finding out from a lost deal is the expensive way. This monitor checks the competitor pages you name on a daily or weekly schedule and reports what moved, sorted into pricing, product and messaging. Every alert names the competitor and links to the live page, so you can see it yourself.

  • Competitor pricing, product and messaging changes flagged
  • Alerts that name the competitor and link the page
  • One daily or weekly brief for sales and marketing

What it is

AI Competitor Website Monitor checks up to 25 pages belonging to the competitors you name, pricing pages, product pages, homepages, on a schedule you set, and reports exactly what changed in their pricing, product listings or messaging. Each alert links to the live page, so your team can see the change for itself.

Why businesses buy it

Sales teams lose deals to a competitor's new offer they never heard about, and marketing keeps a position the market has already moved past. Checking rival sites by hand works for a while, then falls off the list. This build makes competitor tracking routine, so changes reach the people who need them while there is still time to respond. The Scope Card sets the page limit, schedule and delivery channel before you order, so you know exactly which competitors are covered and how.

Problems this solves

A competitor changes pricing and sales first hears it from a prospect

The monitor checks competitors' pricing pages on your schedule. When a price or plan changes, the alert reaches sales through email, Slack or Notion on the day it is found.

Competitors launch new products without your team noticing

Product pages and homepages of the competitors you name are tracked, up to twenty-five pages in total. New and removed products are reported with a link to the live page.

Shifts in a competitor's messaging go unnoticed for months

The monitor reports exactly what changed in a competitor's headlines or positioning. Marketing can compare the new message with your own while it is still fresh.

Competitor screenshots and notes are scattered across the team

Every change arrives in one recurring brief, daily or weekly, with links to the live page. The team builds a shared record of competitor moves instead of personal screenshots.

A good fit if

You already know which competitors matter and want their specific pages watched, not a broad sweep of the wider market.
You need to know when a named competitor changes a price, adds or removes a product, or rewrites their homepage messaging.
You want up to 25 competitor pages checked on a schedule, with a summary that names exactly what changed and links back to the page.
Sales or product teams on your side ask whether anything changed on a rival's site more often than anyone has time to check by hand.

Not the right fit if

You need hiring signals, ad activity or press coverage tracked alongside website changes. See AI Competitive Intelligence, which combines pricing, product, hiring and messaging into one profile.
Price is the only field you care about, across a wider set of product listings. See AI Price Monitoring, which tracks price specifically rather than whole pages.
The pages you want tracked are not competitors', they are your own or a vendor's. See AI Website Monitoring, which covers any page you choose.
You need industry news and press coverage rather than page-level changes. See AI News Intelligence.

How it works

  1. You name the competitors and the pages. Up to 25 URLs across the competitors you choose, pricing pages, product pages, homepages, go into the tracked list.
  2. Each page is checked on schedule. The agent loads the live page and compares it against the version recorded at the last check.
  3. Pricing, product and messaging changes are separated out. A new price, an added or removed product, or rewritten homepage copy is identified as its own finding rather than lumped into one vague alert.
  4. Findings are written up in plain language. Each change gets a short description, which competitor it belongs to, and a link to the exact page.
  5. Your team gets a recurring brief plus change alerts. A scheduled digest covers everything tracked, and anything material triggers an immediate alert to email, Slack or Notion.
  6. Sourcing stays visible. Every finding links back to the competitor's own page, so your team can check it themselves before acting on it.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • The list of competitors and the specific pages you want watched, up to 25 in total.
  • The questions the brief should answer, such as whether pricing, new products or messaging changes matter most to your team.
  • Access to the delivery channel for alerts: email, Slack or Notion.
  • Admin access and any API keys for connected systems, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • One decision-maker who can approve the tracked list and sign off during review.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Competitor changes found by alert
Log each competitor change and how your team learned of it. Compare alert finds with changes heard about from customers.
Lost deals citing a competitor surprise
Review lost-deal notes in your CRM for unexpected competitor moves. Compare the quarter before launch with the quarter after.
Time spent checking competitor sites
Ask the team to log weekly checking hours before launch. Repeat after launch.

Before you start: List the competitor pages your team checks now and who checks them. Pull a quarter of lost-deal notes that mention competitors.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

Running this costs roughly $20 to $120 a month, covering AI usage and the web data or search APIs the checks use. Tracking 25 competitor pages on a weekly schedule typically sits in the lower half of that range.

The build price, shown in the panel on this page, is one-time. Ongoing usage bills to your own accounts, so nothing runs through us and you keep the provider relationships.

Custom requirements

Questions about this product

How many competitors can AI Competitor Website Monitor track?

Up to 25 pages across the competitors you name in this build. That could be one competitor's pricing, product and homepage pages, or a handful of competitors with one key page each. You decide how the 25 pages are split across your named competitors during intake.

Is AI Competitor Website Monitor different from AI Website Monitoring?

Yes. AI Website Monitoring covers any page you choose, including your own site or a vendor's page, and reports any kind of change. This build is scoped specifically to named competitors' pages and separates findings into pricing, product and messaging categories, which matters if competitors are your only focus.

Does AI Competitor Website Monitor track competitor pricing directly?

It flags pricing changes it sees on the competitor pages you list, such as a listed price moving on a pricing or product page. If tracking prices across many product listings is your main goal, AI Price Monitoring is built specifically for that, with a price history for each listing, instead of reporting general page changes.

How often are competitor pages checked?

Daily or weekly, set once during intake for the whole tracked list. Fast-moving pages such as pricing pages usually suit a daily schedule, while a homepage or about page can run weekly. One schedule applies across all 25 tracked pages you name for your competitors.

What does an AI Competitor Website Monitor alert actually tell me?

Each alert names the competitor, the page, and what changed, for example a new price, an added product, or rewritten homepage copy, with a link back to the live page. You check the source yourself rather than relying on our interpretation of what happened.

How much does AI Competitor Website Monitor cost to run each month?

Roughly $20 to $120 a month for AI usage and any web data or search APIs the checks rely on, billed directly to your own accounts. Daily checks on all 25 pages sit toward the upper end, weekly checks toward the lower. The one-time build price is shown separately in the panel on this page.

Can I add more competitors to AI Competitor Website Monitor later?

Yes. Swapping a competitor or two within the same 25-page limit fits inside the monthly change hours in maintenance. Expanding past 25 tracked pages or adding a second delivery channel goes through a Change Quote, priced in writing before work starts, so you always approve the cost first.

What if a competitor change gets missed at launch?

You get two rounds of changes during the trial report cycles before launch, to fix the tracked list, schedule or brief format. After delivery you have five working days to report anything that doesn't match the agreed scope, fixed at no extra cost.

Know what your competitors changed before a customer tells you.

Order AI Competitor Website Monitor and it starts checking your named competitors' pages on a fixed delivery date. Up to 25 pages, sorted into pricing, product and messaging changes.
