AI Campaign Planning

A channel-by-channel campaign plan with budget split and timeline, built from your goal and your calendar.

Planning a campaign across several channels usually means a spreadsheet, a few guesses and a long meeting. This build takes your goal, budget and calendar and returns a written plan: which channels to use, how to split the money, and when each piece goes live. It draws on what has worked for you before, and nothing commits spend until your team approves it.

  • A channel mix and budget split matched to each campaign goal
  • Timelines built around your launch dates and seasonal calendar
  • Plans grounded in your own past campaign results

What it is

AI Campaign Planning takes a campaign goal and budget and returns a channel plan, timeline and budget split across the destinations you use, drawing on your past performance data and the calendar dates you set. Your team approves each plan before any money is committed.

Why businesses buy it

Campaigns rarely fail on creative alone. More often the money went to the wrong channel, or the timing slipped, because the plan was rushed or rebuilt from scratch under pressure. A consistent planning process means every campaign starts with a clear goal, a reasoned budget split and a timeline your stakeholders can sign off. Your team spends its time on the decisions, not on formatting spreadsheets. The scope is fixed in writing before you order, so you know which data it reads, which formats it produces and how approval works.

Problems this solves

Every campaign plan starts from a blank spreadsheet

Give it a goal and budget, and it returns a channel plan, timeline and budget split. Your team reviews and adjusts a structured draft instead of building one from nothing.

Budget splits follow habit rather than past results

Plans draw on the past performance data you provide. Recommendations are grounded in what has actually worked for your business, not last year's split repeated.

Key calendar dates are remembered too late to plan for

The calendar dates you set are built into every timeline. Seasonal peaks and launches are planned ahead rather than squeezed in at the last minute.

Money gets committed before the plan is properly agreed

Your team approves each plan before any money is committed. Plans arrive at one agreed destination, such as a shared drive, so everyone knows where to find them and who signs off.

A good fit if

You launch campaigns across more than one channel and need a plan that sets budget, timing and sequencing before creative work starts.
You already track past campaign results and want the plan to be informed by what has actually worked, not a blank template.
You want a written plan a stakeholder can approve before any spend commits, rather than deciding channel by channel as you go.
You run campaigns often enough that building the plan from scratch each time is taking longer than the campaign itself.

Not the right fit if

You already have the plan and need the ad lines written to fill it. See AI Ad Copy Generator.
You need to know how a campaign that already ran actually performed, not how to plan the next one. See AI Campaign Analysis, which reports results and recommends budget shifts.
You need market or audience research before you can set the plan's direction. See AI Marketing Research or AI Audience Research.
Your planning depends on real-time bid data across more than three ad platforms at once. That level of integration is a custom build; add a note at checkout for a Change Quote.

How it works

  1. You set the goal. Budget, target dates, priority channels and the outcome you are planning for, such as leads or sign-ups, go in at intake.
  2. Past performance is read. Where you connect Google Analytics 4 or your ad accounts, the plan is weighted toward the channels and formats that have performed for you before.
  3. The plan is drafted channel by channel. Meta, LinkedIn, Google, email and organic are each given a role, a budget share and a sequence of activity across the timeline you set.
  4. Milestones and dependencies are mapped. Creative deadlines, launch dates and review points are laid out against the calendar so nothing overlaps that shouldn't.
  5. The plan lands in your review queue. Your named approver adjusts channel weighting, budget or dates before it is treated as final.
  6. The approved plan is delivered to your destination, ready to hand to whoever is building the creative and buying the media.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Your brand guidelines and past campaign results, so the plan is grounded in what has actually worked.
  • Ten to twenty reference campaigns or plans you already rate highly, to anchor the structure.
  • Access to the destination where finished plans should land, such as your CMS, drive or project tool.
  • The campaign goal, budget range and target dates to start the first plan.
  • The name of the person who approves outputs, so the review queue always has an owner.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • One decision-maker who can sign off on scope questions during the build.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can make campaign planning quicker and more consistent
  • Helps budget decisions rest on your own results
  • Makes it easier to plan around key dates in good time
Time to produce a campaign plan
Log hours from goal agreed to plan approved for a few campaigns before and after launch.
Planned versus actual spend
Compare each plan's budget split with actual spend from your ad accounts after the campaign ends.
Results against campaign goal
Record whether each campaign met its stated goal, comparing campaigns planned before and after launch.

Before you start: Gather the last few campaign plans with their budgets, goals and results, and note how long each took to plan.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running the planner costs roughly $20 to $150 a month in AI model usage, billed directly in your own accounts, and the figure tracks how many plans you generate and how much historical data each one pulls from. A team planning a handful of campaigns a quarter sits at the low end; a team planning weekly launches sits higher.

AI usage during the build and testing is also billed to your accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours. Nothing runs through us.

Keep it running

After launch, monthly maintenance keeps the build current as your business changes: monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates, a monthly health report and monthly hours for changes such as re-weighting channels, adding a new campaign type or updating the reference set. It starts after the post-launch support period, bills monthly and can be cancelled any month.

Questions about this product

What does an AI Campaign Planning output actually contain?

A channel-by-channel breakdown with budget share, a timeline of milestones and dependencies, and the outcome each channel is expected to drive, such as leads or sign-ups. It is a plan a stakeholder can approve, not raw data or a spreadsheet template to fill in yourself.

What does AI Campaign Planning cost to run each month?

Roughly $20 to $150 in AI model usage, paid directly in your own account rather than billed through us. The figure depends on how many plans you generate and how much historical data each pull touches; infrequent planning sits near the bottom of that range.

Does the planner buy media or set up the campaigns itself?

No. It produces the plan; a person on your team, or your media buyer, executes it inside the ad platforms and places the spend. If you also want the ad copy written from the approved plan, pair it with AI Ad Copy Generator.

Can the plan use my actual past campaign performance?

Yes, where you connect a read-only source such as Google Analytics 4 or an ad platform account during intake. The plan then weights channel budget toward what has actually performed for you before, rather than working from a generic industry split.

How fast can AI Campaign Planning go live?

Delivery follows the fixed timeline shown in the delivery panel, counted from a verified intake. Express and rush options are available for a fee if a launch date is close. Sending your past campaign results and calendar dates early helps the most, because the planner is shaped around them from the first day of the build.

Can I plan more than three channels at once?

The generation pipeline covers up to three output formats per plan; you can map that directly to your three priority channels for the campaign. A wider multi-channel plan is available as a Change Quote, priced and agreed before that extra work starts.

Can I update the plan template or channels later?

Yes, through monthly maintenance. Re-weighting channels, adding a new campaign type, or updating the reference plans the generator learns from all fit inside the monthly change hours, without needing a fresh build from scratch each time. Maintenance also includes monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates and a monthly health report, and you can cancel any month.

Who signs off on the plan before it goes to the team?

The person you name at intake as your approver. Every generated plan sits in a review queue until that person adjusts channel weighting, budget or dates and formally approves it, so nothing reaches your team or your media buyer unchecked or unreviewed.

Stop building the campaign plan from a blank page.

Order AI Campaign Planning and start your next campaign from a reasoned plan instead of a blank page. The scope and your delivery date are confirmed in writing before you pay.
