AI products that work with GitHub
Your engineering work already lives in GitHub, so that is where your AI help should live too. These agents connect natively to GitHub. They review pull requests, run test plans, watch pipelines and triage incidents, then leave their findings as comments and issues in the repositories your developers already open every morning.

What can the GitHub agents do?
They cover the stretch from code review to production trouble. The AI Code Review Agent reviews pull requests for bugs, security issues and standards and comments inline. The AI QA Agent runs structured test plans and reports defects with evidence. The AI DevOps Agent watches pipelines and alerts and proposes fixes. AI Incident Triage groups alerts, finds likely causes and drafts incident updates.
- Inline pull request reviews
- Test plans with defects backed by evidence
- Pipeline failure diagnosis and proposed fixes
- Incident triage with likely causes
How do they work with GitHub?
The code review, QA and DevOps agents read and update repositories, pull requests, issues and checks. AI Incident Triage reads recent commits, pull requests, deployments and issues, then posts its findings as issues or comments. Because everything lands in GitHub, your team reviews AI findings in the same place and the same way they review each other's work.
Questions buyers ask
Will the agents push code to main?
These agents are built to report and propose. The code review agent comments inline, the DevOps agent proposes fixes, and incident triage posts findings. Your developers stay in charge of what gets merged. The Scope Card lists exactly what each agent can update in your repositories.
Which GitHub agent should we start with?
If pull requests wait too long for review, start with the AI Code Review Agent. If defects reach users, the AI QA Agent helps. Teams struggling with flaky pipelines or noisy alerts get more from the AI DevOps Agent or AI Incident Triage.
We also use GitLab. Is that covered?
The editions on this page are for GitHub. The AI Code Review Agent and AI QA Agent also have GitLab editions, and the code review agent has a Bitbucket edition. You can find them in the Code Quality category and compare their Scope Cards.
How the connection is set up
The general pattern we follow for every integration.
- 1You create the necessary access in your GitHub account: a private app, an API key, or an OAuth approval, depending on what GitHub supports.
- 2We agree a secure way to share access during intake. Please never send passwords or API keys by email.
- 3We agree the field mapping with you and test it on sample records before anything goes live.
- 4You can revoke access from GitHub or the portal at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Which GitHub plan do I need?
It depends on the product. Each product page lists the GitHub features it relies on; plan upgrades are not included.
Will it change my existing data?
Only the fields in the mapping agreed with you, and that mapping is tested on sample records before anything goes live.
Can I use a different platform instead?
Many products also have editions for other platforms. See the full integrations list for what is currently published.
