AI Brand Monitoring

Brand mentions on news sites, review platforms and the wider web, with an alert the moment one needs a response.

A bad review, a news mention or a forum thread about your business can spread before anyone on your team sees it. AI Brand Monitoring tracks mentions across news sites, review platforms, forums and the wider web, scores each one for urgency and alerts you immediately when something needs a reply. Everything else arrives in a calm, recurring brief.

  • Mentions tracked across news, reviews, forums and the wider web
  • Each mention scored by urgency, not listed with equal weight
  • Immediate alerts for anything that needs a fast reply

What it is

AI Brand Monitoring tracks mentions of your brand across news sites, review platforms, forums and the wider web, not just social, and flags anything that needs a response. It delivers a recurring brief plus immediate alerts for anything urgent. Mentions are sorted by urgency.

Why businesses buy it

Reputation problems are cheapest to fix early. A complaint answered within hours often becomes a loyal customer, while one discovered a week later can cost sales and trust. Checking every site manually is impossible, and most monitoring tools bury the urgent items in noise. This build finds the mentions that matter and puts them in front of the right person quickly. The Scope Card lists the sources, delivery channel and trial cycles before you order, so you know exactly what is being watched.

Problems this solves

A harsh review or news mention sits unanswered for days

It tracks brand mentions across news sites, review platforms, forums and the wider web. Anything urgent triggers an immediate alert to your chosen channel, so someone can respond quickly.

Social tools miss what people say on forums and review sites

Monitoring reaches beyond social to up to 25 tracked sources or topics you agree. Press coverage, review platforms and forum threads appear together in one recurring brief.

Every mention looks equally important so nothing gets prioritized

Each mention is sorted by urgency before it reaches you. Your team handles the few that need a reply first, then skims the rest in the daily or weekly brief.

A good fit if

You have been caught off guard by a review, article or forum thread you only found out about days later.
You want mentions across news, reviews and forums tracked in one place, not spread across separate tools.
You want up to 25 sources or topics watched consistently, with a person only pulled in when something actually needs one.
You want a brief delivered to where you already work, such as email, Slack or Notion, rather than another dashboard.

Not the right fit if

If what you actually want is social platform conversation specifically, not the wider web, AI Social Listening is built for that narrower, faster-moving feed.
If your goal is posting content, not tracking mentions of it, AI Social Media Agent has that write access to a channel.
If you need the mentions turned into repurposed social content rather than flagged for response, AI Social Repurposing handles that instead.
If you need more than 25 tracked sources or more than two connected systems, add a note at checkout for a Change Quote, or use our Custom AI enquiry form for a larger build.

How it works

  1. You give us your brand names, product names and any spelling variants, plus up to 25 sources or topics to watch.
  2. The monitoring pipeline scans news sites, review platforms, forums and other public sources for those mentions.
  3. Each mention is scored for how urgent or reputational it is, so a five-star review is not treated the same as a complaint.
  4. A recurring brief is delivered to your one channel, such as email, Slack or Notion, on the cadence you choose.
  5. Anything scored as needing a response triggers an immediate alert, outside the normal brief schedule.
  6. Two trial report cycles run before launch, so scoring and relevance are tuned to what genuinely matters to you.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Your brand and product names, including common misspellings or variants people actually use.
  • The specific questions or risks the brief should watch for, such as complaints or pricing mentions.
  • Access to the delivery channel, such as your email, Slack or Notion workspace.
  • How often you want the recurring brief delivered, daily or weekly.
  • The name of the person who should receive urgent alerts.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • One decision-maker for approvals.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Helps you keep an eye on review sites and forums you rarely check
  • Makes it easier to see how your reputation is trending over time
Response time to urgent mentions
Log when each urgent alert arrived and when your team replied. Compare with response times you can reconstruct from recent months.
Unanswered reviews
Count reviews without a reply on your main review platforms at launch, then again two months later.
Mentions found per month
Compare mentions captured in briefs with what your team found by hand in the month before launch.

Before you start: Record your current review ratings and how many reviews have no reply. Write down how the team learns about press or forum mentions today.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running AI Brand Monitoring afterwards costs roughly $20 to $120 a month in your own accounts, covering AI usage plus web data or search API access, and it moves with how many sources you track.

AI usage during the build and testing is billed the same way, directly to your accounts, so the monitoring data and every alert stay entirely yours.

Custom requirements

Add a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.

Keep it running

We recommend monthly maintenance for this build. It covers monitoring, fixes and monthly change hours for re-tuning the urgency scoring, adding sources and changing who receives alerts. It starts after the post-launch support period, bills monthly and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

How much does AI Brand Monitoring cost?

One fixed price, shown on this page before you buy. It covers the tracking setup for up to 25 sources, the urgency scoring, delivery configuration, two trial report cycles and the recorded handoff. The only ongoing cost is the AI usage and any web data access you pay directly in your own accounts.

What does AI Brand Monitoring cost to run each month?

Usually $20 to $120 a month, covering AI usage and web data or search API access, paid in your own accounts. It moves with how many sources and terms you track. Monthly maintenance is separate and optional, for changes to what is tracked.

How soon does AI Brand Monitoring start flagging mentions?

Delivery time is fixed and shown before you buy, counted from a verified intake, and it includes two trial report cycles you review before go-live. Your brand terms and the sources to track need to be in within 72 hours of ordering, since the scoring is tuned around them.

Does it only cover social media?

No. It covers news sites, review platforms, forums and other public sources across the wider web, which is what sets it apart from a social-only listening tool. If you specifically want fast-moving social conversation tracked, AI Social Listening covers that narrower feed instead.

How fast do we find out about something urgent?

Immediately. Anything scored as needing a response triggers an alert outside the normal brief schedule, sent straight to the person you name. Lower-urgency mentions, such as a routine review, wait for the next scheduled brief instead of interrupting your day every time something new appears.

Can we adjust what counts as urgent after launch?

Yes. Re-tuning the scoring, adding a new source or changing who receives alerts fits inside the monthly change hours that come with maintenance. Tracking more than 25 sources or adding a second delivery channel goes through a written Change Quote instead.

Who owns the monitoring history and the briefs?

You do. Every brief, the scoring history and the underlying mentions belong to you and land in your own email, Slack or Notion workspace. If maintenance is cancelled later, the pipeline already built stays exactly as delivered, with no data locked behind us.

Stop finding out about a bad review from a customer.

Order AI Brand Monitoring and mentions of your brand across the web are tracked, scored and flagged to the right person, from a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
