AI Knowledge Base Builder
Turns scattered documents into a structured, maintained knowledge base.
Questions answered from your Confluence spaces, each with a link to the page, and scoped to who may see it.
Confluence fills up with good documentation that people cannot find when they need it. This agent answers staff questions from the Confluence spaces and pages you choose, linking to the page behind every answer. Restricted spaces stay with the right permission group. It indexes up to 2,000 documents for up to 50 users, and you can add one more source if needed.

AI Knowledge Agent for Confluence answers staff questions from the Confluence spaces and pages you choose, plus one more source if needed, citing the page behind every answer. It indexes up to 2,000 documents with up to 3 permission groups, for up to 50 users.
Teams write runbooks, specs and policies in Confluence, then answer the same questions in chat because search returns too many pages. Time is lost and people act on outdated versions. This agent gives a direct answer with a link to the current page, so staff can check it and move on. The written scope sets which spaces are indexed, how restricted content is handled and the benchmark you receive before you order.
The agent answers staff questions from the Confluence spaces and pages you choose. It cites the page behind every answer, so people land in the right place.
Because each answer cites its page, staff can see which version was used and flag outdated pages. A monthly content refresh keeps the index current.
Up to three permission groups control what each person can see, for up to fifty users. Access uses keys you control, and testing runs on sandbox or test records.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $9,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $11,150 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $12,400 |
Before you start: List the Confluence spaces in scope and time a set of real questions using search. Note known outdated pages.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build itself is a one-time payment, shown before you buy. Ongoing, plan on roughly $50 to $300 a month in your own accounts for AI model usage, the vector database and hosting, depending on how many pages are indexed and how often people ask.
Your Atlassian subscription is unchanged. AI usage during build and testing is billed to you.
Ask about running costsSpaces beyond the 2,000-document limit, a fourth permission group, a second interface or custom Confluence objects need a written Change Quote. Add a note at checkout; it arrives. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionWe recommend monthly maintenance for this edition. It covers monitoring, fixes and monthly hours for adding spaces, adjusting groups or extending the benchmark, and the change hours scale with the build. Maintenance starts after the included support period and can be cancelled any month.

Only the spaces agreed at intake and written into the field mapping. Pages inside those spaces are indexed up to the 2,000-document limit, with citations back to each page. Personal spaces or archived areas stay out unless you add them, and adding a space later can come out of your maintenance change hours.
Each space in scope is assigned to one of up to 3 permission groups. Someone outside a group never receives answers drawn from that group's spaces, even when the answer exists there. You can include questions from restricted spaces among the 60 benchmark questions to confirm the restriction holds before launch.
An Atlassian API token or an OAuth app, set up by your Confluence admin and limited to the agreed spaces. We confirm it together on a 30-minute setup call during intake. Access stays in your Atlassian account and can be revoked by your admin at any time.
Yes. The one interface can be a web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams, for up to 50 users. Answers arrive there with a link to the Confluence page they came from, so people only open Confluence when they want to read the full page.
Roughly $50 to $300 a month in your own accounts for AI model usage, the vector database and hosting. Large spaces near the 2,000-document limit and busy teams sit toward the top. Confluence licenses stay as they are and are not part of this build.
The standard, Express and Rush delivery times are shown in the price panel before you order, and the clock starts after a verified intake. Agreeing the list of spaces and the permission groups during intake keeps your chosen date on track.
The index refreshes monthly as standard, so an edited page is reflected after the next refresh. Until then, the citation still links to the live page, where the reader sees the latest wording. A more frequent refresh schedule can be added through a written Change Quote.
