What is an AI agent? A plain-English guide for business owners
What an AI agent is, how it works, where it helps a small business, the risks, and a 7-point check to see if you are ready for one.
Late and stuck items across your Monday.com boards raised with their owners, and one rollup of progress posted for the team.
When projects run across several Monday.com boards, nobody has a single view of what is late, and items marked stuck can stay that way for days. This agent reads your boards, finds late, stuck and unowned items, and raises each one through an update on the item itself. Your team gets one progress rollup across boards, and dates or owners change only with approval.

AI Project Manager Agent for Monday.com reads the items on your Monday.com boards, finds work that is late, marked stuck or missing an owner, and raises it through an update on the item. It posts one progress rollup across boards to your team channel, and asks your approver before changing dates or owners.
Monday.com boards look clear one at a time, but a stuck status changes color and nobody follows up. Managers spend hours flicking between boards to build a picture, and by the next meeting the slip is already real. This agent reads every board in scope, raises problems where your team already talks, and posts one honest rollup. Owners hear about blockers sooner and leaders stop compiling reports by hand. The boards, rules and permissions are agreed on the Scope Card before you order, so nothing on your boards changes unexpectedly.
The agent reads the items on your Monday.com boards and finds work that is late, marked stuck or missing an owner. It raises each one through an update on the item.
It posts one progress rollup across your boards to the team channel. Leaders see the whole picture without opening each board or building a separate dashboard by hand.
Before changing dates or owners, the agent asks your approver. The field mapping is documented, so you know exactly which columns it reads and which it may update.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

Before you start: Record how many items are late, stuck or unowned across your boards today. Note how cross-board progress is reported now.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build price is one-time. Afterwards, AI model usage and hosting cost roughly $50 to $250 a month in your own accounts, depending on the number of boards and workflows. Your Monday.com subscription is unchanged; licenses and upgrades are outside the build.
Usage during build and testing is billed to your accounts too.

Boards, items and updates. It reads items and their status and date columns on the boards in scope, and posts updates on items to reach their owners. Edits to dates, owners or status follow your approval rules. The mapping your admin approves sets the boundaries, and custom Monday.com objects are excluded.
Yes. The boards in the agreed mapping all feed one rollup posted to your team channel, showing what was done, what is late, what is stuck and what is coming due. If you want separate rollups per team, each can be one of the six workflows on the Scope Card.
If the item stays stuck beyond the time you set, the agent posts an update on it addressed to the owner, asking what is needed. If it still has not moved by the next checkpoint, it is raised in your team channel and listed in the next rollup.
Timing starts once your Monday.com token, board selection and approval rules are verified, which is due within 72 hours of ordering. Standard, express and rush delivery times are shown in the delivery panel before you buy, so you can choose the pace that fits. Choosing your boards before you order keeps intake short.
Not unless you allow it. Posting updates on items needs no sign-off, but changing a date, owner or status is proposed to your named approver and applied only after a yes. The field mapping also limits which boards and columns it can ever touch.
