AI Company Knowledge Hub for Notion

Your Notion wiki answers questions with a cited page, reaching only the pages and databases you share with the integration.

Notion makes it easy to write things down, and then the workspace grows until search stops finding the right page. This hub connects natively to Notion and answers questions from the pages and databases you share with it, citing the page behind every answer. Staff can ask from a web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams. You decide what it sees by sharing pages, and nothing else.

  • Every answer cites the Notion page it came from
  • Reads databases like process registers and decision logs
  • Sees only the pages you share with the integration

What it is

AI Company Knowledge Hub for Notion is a cited Q&A assistant connected natively to Notion, reading and updating the pages and databases shared with its integration. Staff ask in a web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams and get an answer that cites the Notion page behind it. You choose exactly which pages it can see.

Why businesses buy it

A large Notion workspace often holds the right answer three times, in three slightly different pages, and people give up and ask in chat. That costs focus and spreads outdated guidance. This hub answers with the current page cited, so your handbook and process docs finally do their job and fewer questions land on the people who wrote them. Because the Scope Card fixes the shared pages, one extra system, document volume and testing before you order, you control exactly what goes in and what the build includes.

Problems this solves

Notion wikis grow faster than anyone can keep track of

The hub reads the Notion pages and databases shared with its integration and answers in plain language. Each answer cites the Notion page behind it, so staff can jump straight there.

Staff do not want to open Notion for a quick answer

People ask in a web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams and get a cited answer from Notion. The hub can also update shared databases, within the agreed field mapping.

Private Notion pages must not show up in shared answers

You choose exactly which pages the hub can see by sharing them with its integration. Up to three permission groups add further control, and access uses keys you control.

A good fit if

Your handbook, processes and project notes live in Notion, but the workspace has grown past the point where search finds the right page.
Notion databases hold structured knowledge, such as a process register or a decisions log, and people want answers drawn from them.
You want control over exactly what the assistant can see, by sharing chosen pages and databases with the integration and nothing else.
A Notion admin can create an internal integration token and join a 30-minute setup call.

Not the right fit if

Your wiki lives in Confluence spaces rather than Notion. See AI Company Knowledge Hub for Confluence.
Your Notion workspace is not yet organized into anything coherent. See AI Knowledge Base Builder, which structures scattered documents first.
You want to know which questions your Notion pages cannot answer yet. See AI Knowledge Gap Finder.
Most of your files sit in Google Drive, with Notion as a minor tool. See AI Company Knowledge Hub for Google Workspace.

How it works

  1. A Notion admin creates an internal integration token, and on a 30-minute setup call we agree which pages and databases to share with it.
  2. Only content shared with the integration is reachable. The field mapping records which pages and database properties are read and which, if any, the hub may update.
  3. Up to 2,000 documents from Notion, plus up to 1 more system such as Google Drive or a CRM, are indexed for cited retrieval.
  4. A staff member asks in a web app, Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the answer quotes the passage and cites the Notion page or database entry it came from.
  5. Up to 3 permission groups, configured for your Notion setup, decide who can draw on restricted pages such as finance or HR.
  6. Testing runs on live sandbox or test records with 60 benchmark questions, and a monthly refresh picks up new and edited Notion pages.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • A Notion internal integration token, created by a workspace admin.
  • A Notion admin for a 30-minute setup call to agree which pages and databases are shared with the integration.
  • Your user list and the permission group each person belongs to.
  • 30 sample questions and the answers you expect, taken from real Notion pages.
  • Access to one additional system, if you want one connected.
  • One decision-maker to approve the field mapping and the benchmark answers.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Running costs

You pay for the build once. Running costs, roughly $50 to $300 a month for AI model usage, the vector database and hosting, are billed to your own accounts. Your Notion plan is unchanged; licenses and upgrades are outside this build.

AI usage during build and testing also lands in your accounts.

Custom requirements

If you need custom Notion objects beyond the agreed mapping, a further system, or more than 2,000 documents, add a note at checkout. A written Change Quote follows, and that work starts once you accept it. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form.

Questions about this product

Which Notion pages can the knowledge hub see?

Only the pages and databases shared with its integration. Your Notion admin shares them during setup, and the field mapping records what is in scope. A page that is not shared stays invisible to the hub, so a private teamspace remains private unless you decide to share it.

Will the hub update our Notion databases?

Only within the agreed field mapping. The Notion connection is two-way, but any update is limited to the pages and properties documented and approved at intake. Answering questions with a cited Notion page is its main job, and the mapping you receive at handoff lists exactly what it may change.

What happens when a Notion page is edited after launch?

The monthly content refresh re-indexes shared pages and databases, so edits and new pages enter the hub on that schedule. Every answer cites the page it used, so staff can open the live page if they suspect a recent change. A more frequent refresh can be quoted as a Change Quote.

Can the Notion hub also read Google Drive or a CRM?

Yes, up to 1 more system is included next to Notion, such as Google Drive or a CRM, indexed and cited the same way as your Notion pages. A third source comes through the Knowledge Base Expansion add-on, or through a Change Quote agreed before the work starts.

What access does the Notion edition need from us?

A Notion internal integration token created by a workspace admin, plus that admin for a 30-minute setup call. The token is handled through the intake process and never shared by email. Pages are then shared with the integration as agreed on the call, and the field mapping records the result.

How soon after ordering can our team ask the Notion hub questions?

Delivery follows a fixed schedule from a verified intake, and the delivery panel shows the date plus express and rush options before you order. The clock starts once the internal integration token, the setup call and your sample questions are in place, all due within 72 hours of ordering.

What are the monthly running costs for a Notion workspace?

Roughly $50 to $300 a month in your own accounts for AI model usage, the vector database and hosting. Your Notion subscription is separate and unchanged. Monthly maintenance is optional, for changes such as sharing new pages with the integration after launch.
