AI Website Chatbot for Home Services

Homeowners get answers about your services, area and call-out fees while your crews are on jobs, and quote requests arrive complete.

When your crews are on jobs, website enquiries wait, and homeowners call the next company on the list. This chatbot answers on your website about the work you take on, the areas you cover, call-out fees and how booking works, using your own pages and price guides. Quote requests are collected with the job details you ask for, then sent to your office.

  • Homeowners get answers while your crews are out on jobs
  • Quote requests arrive complete with the job details you need
  • Urgent jobs are flagged so your office can act fast

What it is

AI Website Chatbot for Home Services answers homeowners on your website about the jobs you take on, areas covered, call-out fees and booking, using your own pages and price guides. Quote and booking requests are collected with job details and sent to your office. It includes the Home Services workflow template.

Why businesses buy it

Home services businesses win work by responding first. A homeowner with a leaking pipe or a broken boiler rarely waits until tomorrow for a reply. Missed enquiries go to competitors, and half-complete quote requests mean extra calls back and forth. This chatbot answers straight away and gathers the details your office needs to price the job. The written scope sets what it answers, which requests it collects and where they go before you order.

Problems this solves

Quote requests go unanswered while crews are out on jobs

The chatbot answers homeowners on your website while your team is on site. It collects quote and booking requests with the job details and sends them straight to your office.

Homeowners phone just to ask whether you cover their area

Questions about areas covered, the jobs you take on and call-out fees are answered from your own pages and price guides. Homeowners can check before picking up the phone.

Office staff call customers back just to collect basic job details

The Home Services workflow template gathers the type of work and job details up front. Your office receives a request it can price or book without a fact-finding call.

A good fit if

Your crews are on jobs all day, and website enquiries wait until someone is back at the van or the office.
Homeowners ask the same things: do you cover my area, do you do this job, what is the call-out fee, how soon can you come.
Quote requests arrive without the address or a clear description of the problem, so the first call is spent asking.
You publish service pages and a price guide, even a simple one, that the chatbot can answer from.

Not the right fit if

Most enquiries come by phone and go unanswered while you work. See AI Voice Receptionist for Home Services.
You want jobs booked into the schedule directly. See AI Appointment Setter for Home Services.
You need existing customers' issues resolved across chat and email with actions taken. See AI Customer Support Agent for Home Services.
You want quote requests created as jobs in Jobber or ServiceTitan. Add the Custom API or Webhook Integration, or note it at checkout for a Change Quote.

How it works

  1. It learns what you offer. Service pages, area coverage, call-out and price guides, and booking terms, up to 100 documents or 200 web pages.
  2. Five homeowner intents are configured. Usually services offered, service area, prices and call-out fees, quote requests, and booking or urgent jobs.
  3. Quote requests are collected properly. It asks for the job type, the address or postcode, the problem described and the best time to call, as you specify.
  4. Requests go to the office. Each quote or booking request is emailed to your office or helpdesk with the details and the full conversation.
  5. Urgent jobs get your emergency route. If someone describes a leak or no heating, it gives the emergency number or instructions from your own content.
  6. It is checked on 40 test questions. Based on real homeowner enquiries, each marked pass or fail before launch.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Service pages, area coverage, price and call-out guides, and your booking terms.
  • Your top 20 homeowner questions, with the answers you want given.
  • The details you need on every quote request, and your emergency number or instructions.
  • The office email or helpdesk access where requests should arrive.
  • Website admin access or your web developer, plus repository or hosting access and a technical contact.
  • Logo and brand colors, and admin access and API keys for connected systems, never by email.
  • One decision-maker, usually the owner, to approve answers.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can help you catch quote requests that would otherwise be missed
  • Helps the office book jobs with fewer calls back to customers
  • Lets crews stay on the job instead of answering the phone
Quote requests from the website
Count requests reaching the office inbox each month. Compare with website form submissions in the months before launch.
Callbacks needed for missing details
Ask the office to tally callbacks for two weeks before launch and two weeks after.
Calls asking about coverage or fees
Log these calls by reason for a sample fortnight. Repeat the same log after launch.

Before you start: Count website quote requests and booked jobs for the last month. Ask the office to log calls by reason for two weeks.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build itself is a one-time payment, shown before you buy. Running costs are roughly $30 to $150 a month for AI model usage and hosting, billed in your own accounts, and track how many homeowners use it.

Usage during build and testing is billed to you directly too, so the accounts stay in your business's name.

Custom requirements

Creating jobs in field service software, checking live availability, or a sixth intent goes beyond the Scope Card. Add a note at checkout and receive a written Change Quote. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.

Keep it running

We recommend monthly maintenance for this build. It covers monitoring, fixes and monthly hours for seasonal prices, new service areas or a new service line. The change hours scale with the build, so businesses with several branches or trades get more room. Maintenance starts after the included support period and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

Can AI Website Chatbot for Home Services give homeowners a price?

Yes, where your own price guide or call-out fee page states one. It repeats your published figures and explains when a site visit is needed for an exact quote. It never invents a price, and anything outside your guide becomes a quote request for your office.

Can it book jobs into our schedule?

Not in the standard scope. It collects the booking or quote request with the details you need and sends it to your office or helpdesk. For direct scheduling, AI Appointment Setter for Home Services books jobs, and AI Voice Receptionist for Home Services covers calls.

Does it work with Jobber or ServiceTitan?

Not out of the box. The standard handoff is email or a helpdesk. To create quote requests or jobs directly in Jobber, ServiceTitan or similar field service software, add the Custom API or Webhook Integration, or describe your setup at checkout for a written Change Quote.

What does it do with an emergency enquiry?

It gives the emergency number or instructions you supply, straight away, rather than asking a list of quote questions. You decide what counts as urgent, for example a burst pipe or no heating in winter, and we test those scenarios among the 40 questions.

What does the home services chatbot include, and how quickly is it live?

It includes the Home Services workflow template, five intents such as quotes, areas and urgent jobs, 40 test questions, two rounds of changes and 30 days of support. The standard, Express and Rush delivery times are shown in the price panel before you order, so you can launch before your busy season.

Can homeowners reach it by text message?

The base build covers one channel, usually your website widget. The SMS Channel Add-on lets homeowners text the same assistant, and the WhatsApp Channel Add-on does the same for WhatsApp, both using the same answers and handoff rules. Messaging fees are paid in your own accounts.

Keep winning quotes while the crew is on the job.

Order AI Website Chatbot for Home Services and homeowners start getting answers on services, areas and call-out fees, while complete quote requests reach your office.
