AI Document Extraction for Recruitment
Extracts structured data from documents into your systems, adapted for Recruitment businesses that key candidate CVs and compliance documents into their ATS…
Complex PDFs, tables and scanned pages included, become searchable, structured content you can query and extract from.
Important information often sits locked in PDFs: scanned forms, reports full of tables, contracts set in two columns. Copying it out by hand is slow and error-prone. AI PDF Intelligence reads those files, scans included, and turns them into structured fields and searchable text. You can also ask a plain question about a PDF and get an answer drawn only from that file.

AI PDF Intelligence reads complex PDF files, including scanned pages, multi-column layouts and embedded tables, and turns them into searchable, structured content you can extract fields from or ask questions about. Unclear pages and low-confidence fields go to a review queue, and clean results flow into the system you choose.
PDFs are where a lot of business data goes to hide. Tables do not copy cleanly, scans cannot be searched, and staff end up retyping figures or skimming fifty pages for one clause. That costs time and invites mistakes. After this build, your PDFs become structured content you can search, extract from and question, with doubtful results sent to a person instead of passed along. The Scope Card fixes the PDF types, the field list and the connected systems in writing before you order, so you know exactly what you get.
PDF Intelligence reads scanned pages and turns them into searchable, structured content. Your team can find a phrase or pull a field instead of reading every page.
Embedded tables and multi-column layouts are read in order and extracted as structured data. Up to three document types are set up, with up to twenty-five fields each.
Once processed, documents can be queried with plain questions. Clean results flow into the system you choose, so the answer is not lost in another inbox.
Unclear pages and low-confidence fields go to a review queue rather than straight through. Validation rules add a second check on values before they are written.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $3,900 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $4,600 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $5,250 |
Before you start: Count the PDFs your team handles each week and time a few typical ones. Note which tables or fields are retyped most often.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build price is one-time. Running PDF Intelligence costs roughly $30 to $200 a month in your own accounts, covering OCR and AI usage plus storage, and it moves with how many PDF pages pass through it each month.
AI usage during the build and testing is billed to your own accounts too, so every provider relationship stays yours, not ours.
Ask about running costsIf you need more than three PDF document types, more than 25 fields per type, or a second intake route than the Scope Card lists, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionOptional monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates, a monthly health report and monthly change hours, enough to add a field or retune a tricky PDF layout. It starts after the 30 days of support end, bills monthly, and can be cancelled any month.
$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A PDF-parsing SaaS charges per page or per document processed | A custom agency quotes after discovery calls | Ours is one fixed price, shown on this page before you buy |
| Scope | A PDF-parsing SaaS is a general tool you template for each layout yourself | An agency agrees scope during the project | Ours is written on the Scope Card before purchase |
| Complex layouts | A PDF-parsing SaaS often struggles with tables and multi-column pages out of the box | An agency build depends on what was scoped | Ours is tested on your real PDFs, tables and scans included |
| Delivery | A PDF-parsing SaaS is live once you finish templating each layout | An agency usually takes several weeks | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
You can see the fixed price for each delivery speed in the price and delivery panel on this page before you order. It covers everything on the Scope Card: parsing tuned to up to three PDF types, a field list of up to 25 fields each, the connection to your two systems and the accuracy report before launch. Anything beyond that is quoted in writing first.
AI Document Extraction is the general-purpose build that works across any document type or format. PDF Intelligence is built specifically for PDF files, with parsing tuned for multi-column layouts, embedded tables and scanned pages, plus the ability to ask questions about a PDF's content directly, not just pull fields out of it.
Yes. Scanned pages are parsed with OCR before extraction or question answering runs, so a photocopied form works the same way as a native digital PDF. Include a mix of scanned and native examples in your sample set so the accuracy report reflects both during pre-launch testing, since scan quality varies more than layout does.
Yes. Alongside structured field extraction, you can ask a plain-language question about a specific PDF, such as what notice period a policy sets or which line items a statement lists, and get an answer drawn only from that document. If the answer is not in the file, it says so rather than guessing.
You pay running costs in your own accounts, not to us. Expect roughly $30 to $200 a month for OCR and AI usage plus storage, and the figure scales with how many PDF pages pass through it. Long scanned reports cost more to process than short native PDFs. Monthly maintenance is optional if you want parsing kept current as layouts change.
Yes. Every credential and connected account is shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control during setup, never by email, and PDFs move only between the systems you connected. Sensitive fields can be excluded from the field list, and sample PDFs can be redacted before we ever see them ourselves, with nothing used to train a shared model.
Each delivery speed and its timing are shown in the price and delivery panel on this page, counted from the day your intake is complete and access is verified. Most of the build goes into tuning parsing for your specific PDF layouts and then testing it on your own samples, so the accuracy report reflects real files.
It's held in a review queue instead of returning an unreliable extraction or a guessed answer. Badly scanned pages, corrupted files or unusually dense tables are the most common causes, and the person you named checks them so the document still gets handled correctly rather than silently failing.
Order AI PDF Intelligence and it turns your complex PDFs into structured, queryable content on a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
