Call Intelligence

AI Call Analytics

A recurring report on call volume, duration and outcomes, so patterns show up before they become a problem.

You know how many calls come in, but not why customers call or where opportunities slip away. AI Call Analytics reads your call data and builds a recurring report on volume, outcomes and the reasons behind them, with alerts when a trend crosses a line you set. You choose the metrics, and the numbers are checked against your history.

  • Groups calls by reason so you see what drives volume
  • Spots missed opportunities and alerts you when trends shift
  • Delivers a recurring report by email, Slack or dashboard

What it is

AI Call Analytics is an AI agent that reads your call data and builds a recurring report on volume, duration, outcomes and the reasons customers are calling, with alerts when a trend crosses a line you set. It reports on patterns, not on any single call.

Why businesses buy it

Call data usually sits unused in a phone system while managers make staffing and product decisions on instinct. Missed opportunities, repeat complaints and rising volume on one topic stay invisible until they become expensive. This agent turns your calls into a regular report on the patterns you care about, and alerts you when something moves. You can fix the cause instead of answering the same calls forever. The Scope Card fixes the metrics, the data sources, the delivery channel and the checks against three months of your history before you buy.

Problems this solves

Nobody can say why customers are calling this month

AI Call Analytics reads your call data and groups calls by reason. The recurring report shows which reasons are growing, so you can fix causes rather than answer symptoms.

Call volume reports take hours to pull together by hand

Volume, duration and outcomes are built into one recurring report or dashboard. It arrives through email, Slack or the web, without anyone exporting spreadsheets. The figures update on the schedule you choose.

A sudden rise in complaints goes unnoticed for weeks

Up to five alerts warn you when a trend crosses a line you set, such as a jump in one call reason. You hear about it while there is time to respond.

Staffing decisions rely on guesses about busy periods

Patterns in volume and duration across days and hours show when demand peaks. The report covers trends, not single calls, so the picture stays clear.

A good fit if

You want to know whether call volume, wait times or missed calls are getting better or worse over time.
You handle enough calls that a weekly or monthly pattern matters more than any single conversation.
You want to know the most common reasons people call, without reading every transcript yourself.
You want an alert the moment a metric, such as missed-call rate, moves past a threshold you set.

Not the right fit if

You want a note on one specific call, not a report across many. See AI Call Summarization, which writes a per-call summary.
You want calls graded against a quality checklist, not counted. See AI Call QA, which scores tone and script adherence.
You want to know whether a specific lead was qualified, not how call volume is trending. See AI Call Qualification Agent.
You need the same view live, on calls still in progress, not on a recurring report. See AI Voice Supervisor.

How it works

  1. Call metadata and transcripts arrive from the telephony account you already use, such as Twilio, Aircall or RingCentral.
  2. Each call is tagged automatically by outcome, topic, duration and time of day, using the categories you approve.
  3. Tags are rolled up into a recurring dashboard or report, covering volume trends, average handle time and the top reasons people call.
  4. Alerts fire when a metric you chose crosses a threshold, such as a spike in missed calls during business hours.
  5. The report is delivered on the schedule and channel you set, whether that is a weekly email or a live dashboard.
  6. Nothing is scored or transcribed word for word in the report; it stays at the level of patterns and counts.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake.
  • A telephony account or the phone number you want ported or forwarded to it.
  • Your call scripts, FAQs and business hours, so call reasons are tagged the way your team describes them.
  • The phone numbers a call should escalate to when a caller needs a person.
  • Read-only access to each data source the report pulls from, plus your own definitions of the metrics that matter.
  • At least three months of historical call data, so trends can be checked against real cases before launch.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • One decision-maker on your side who can approve the report layout and sign off on launch.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

  • Read-only connection to up to three data sources, such as your phone system and CRM

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • You can see why customers call without listening to recordings.
  • Emerging problems can surface sooner through alerts.
  • Staffing can follow real demand patterns.
Time spent on call reporting
Compare hours spent building call reports each month before launch with time after.
Top call reasons
Track the share of calls for your top reasons in the report, month by month.
Alert response time
Log when each alert fired and when action was taken, and review the gap monthly.

Before you start: List the call reports you produce today and how long they take. Note what you believe the top call reasons are, so the first report can test it.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running it costs roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage and the hosting or scheduler that refreshes the report.

AI usage during the build and testing is also billed to your accounts, so every provider relationship stays yours. Nothing runs through us.

Custom requirements

If you need something outside the Scope Card, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.

Keep it running

We recommend monthly maintenance, which covers monitoring, fixes and a monthly allowance of change hours, for things such as a new metric or an extra alert. It starts after the 30 days of included support and can be cancelled any month.

$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

How much does AI Call Analytics cost?

The fixed build price for each delivery speed is shown in the price and delivery panel on this page, and it covers everything on the Scope Card. That includes setting up your metrics, testing the report against three months of your own call history, two rounds of changes and thirty days of support after launch.

What metrics can AI Call Analytics track?

Up to 25 metrics or recurring questions, defined by you during intake, such as call volume by day, average handle time, missed-call rate or the most common reasons people call. We test the tagging against three months of your real call history before launch, so the numbers match what your team would count by hand.

What does AI Call Analytics cost to run each month?

Running costs sit at roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage plus the hosting or scheduler that refreshes the report. You pay those providers directly, in your own name, so you keep full ownership of every account. We charge nothing per report generated.

How is AI Call Analytics different from AI Call QA?

AI Call Analytics reports on patterns across all your calls, such as volume and outcome trends. AI Call QA scores individual calls against a quality rubric. A sensible order is to run Analytics first to see where volume is heaviest, then add QA to check how well those particular calls are handled.

What access does AI Call Analytics need to get started?

We need read-only access to your call data, at least three months of history to test trends against, and your own definitions of the metrics and alerts you want, up to twenty-five. Tell us where the report should go, such as email, Slack or a web dashboard. Access is shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.

Is it clear the report comes from AI?

Yes, the report carries a short note that its numbers are compiled by an AI agent from your call data, so anyone reading it knows the source. You approve the wording during intake, and it can be changed later through monthly maintenance if your internal reporting standards change.

Can I add a new metric or alert after launch?

Yes, adding a metric or an alert within the existing 25-metric limit fits inside the monthly change hours that come with maintenance. Going past that limit, or adding a second dashboard, comes through the Additional Workflow add-on, quoted before the work starts.

See the pattern in your calls, not just the last one.
